But yeah, I'm super pumped about this mech coming out! It's gonna be beastly with the right build(s).

they should be handy if you roll with the damage you should be able to spread the damage between the arm and the side torso with out them the side torso would take a lot of damage.

This would be amazing if done on all mechs with this type of sheilding and while we are wish listing can the quickdraw get a ac 20 in an arm???

I was not initially thrilled by the Mauler artwork when Resistance 2 came out. I reluctantly bought the Mauler pack because what the heck, what's $20. After seeing the instagram stuff with the Blood Pact camo and now this the Mauler has officially become my favorite mech of the pack!! Great work PGI!!!

Looks great overall,

But those fugly square generic laser bits smashed into a circular weapon casing in the arms.....

Why can the Orion get nicely done and well mounted dynamic laser geometry that fits snugly into its arm mounts, but this thing needs to have those square blocks smashed onto the round frame....

Don't get me wrong, mech geo looks great, but I'm REALLY getting sick of the same generic weapon geo getting slapped everywhere on all these new mechs.

Whatever happened to the weapon geometry you see on mechs like Highlanders, or Orions? Those are still dynamic, but feel much more grounded then the same box being slapped onto every laser hard point under the sun.

So... When does the Thor get a remodel of its 'arms' into the actual 'barrels' their suppose to be?... First the Zeus gets them, now the Mauler has them.... So when does the Thor get its arms changed? =D

Meh. Someone who knows how to shoot isn't going to be troubled by aiming slightly lower at the massive guns. Those who don't know how to shoot will spread damage as usual.
