On assault in solo queue, NASCAR has now been defeated and going into the quaint pile of obsolete tactics. Welcome the era of the NHRA. All it takes is for you to refuse to take that third turn and go right for their base. Match over 90% of the time unless the other team turns back fast to stop it. Almost none of them will, preferring instead to charge your base.

NASCAR is dead.

Also taking a moment to coin the name for the new Caustic strategy: NHRA, or Drag Race are both acceptable.

Yeah.. Drag race is a better option.. Or Base rush..

I don't think NASCAR is dead.. but BaseRush happens now.. so yeah..

NASCAR only happens when you agree to let it happen. I'd rather drag race and be done with it than play that game.

Now, all I need to do is sit in base with my Dire, line up my 4UAC10's on the first light that arrives and get my points before the game ends. With a bit o luck I may get the second one as well, then the first medium... hmm...

i only ever see this happen on Caustic, and that's because it's a badly designed map that encourages both NASCAR and base rushing depending on the game mode.

Did that on Terra Derpa with a 4LPL Zeus.

racked up 4 kills really quick as the lone survivor of a very bad game. Unfortunately, the timer ran out before I could get kills 5 and 6 or they got me. Not sure which would have happened.
