I have noticed an alarming trend on Viridian Bog. See if you can spot it.

Do you see it?

Concentrate.

It all becomes clear. Look again! Let the red words guide you!

Do you see it now? Yes! YES!!!!!!!!

I have noticed an alarming trend of bad players scrambling to the edge of the map and then snake around the longest way possible to avoid danger. This is the smell of fear. This is a cloud... of fear. Fear in MWO gets you killed!

Do not do this! Do not go out of your way to avoid danger! There is no strategy to this other than death! Team after team I see dies when they do this. This is the path to Hell, not Valhalla.

The other thing that most people do is all go D4, then just stand there getting shot at from 3 directions and trying to take potshots back, usually coming out much worse in the trades.

It's maddening, but it happens in any game where your scenario doesn't instead, like clockwork.

Yeah, one should never stop at D4.

D4 is bad. Either side snake routes are bad. They're slithering along the edge of the ****.

On a map with only 2-3 different options, you can hardly blame people for wanting to see what's behind door number 3 now and again.

Breakdown lane on the inside of the curve is passing lane IF you don't stop.

You go ahead and hug that outer wall on assault, we'll be on your base shortly to force you to come defend it or take the cap win. We're good either way.

Don't even get me started on how pugs tend to play Assault, on Bog or otherwise....

Yeah. I know. That's why I dictate what I'm doing, and if they don't want to join me, fine. The faster I'm dead, the faster I'm out of the game, or I'm the guy who's saving your win for you by capping out or at least turning the enemy's back to you so you can shoot them up.

I'm good either way.

You want pugs to learn the strategies of the various maps? But thats not "fun" by the underhive definition. That requires teamwork and thats OP. Anything OP is not fun.

No the real problem is all the &$@!ing indestructible trees and logs that you get caught on in the center that forces players to the edges of the map. I

Still not seeing what would be considered the best spot/path on this map. You are only showing PUGs what not to do. Show them where to go/ground to hold.

That's like herding cats. You can only tell them where sharp pointy things are that might hurt them.

Sides of map sharp.

Sides of map pointy!

Sides of map hurt more than robits!

Yep. My goal is to get to the opposite and fight in either E2 or C7. No place else on the map has as much value to fight over as those two spots.
