Realizing that if I want to upgrade engines. Possible have to buy all new clan models. Thats fine. Could we not be able to pull an engine from eg. Timberwolf? Knowing that Timberwolf only can do 375xl, but can be used in my new Orion IIC until such a time I want to repurchase or play swap game as we do with our IS mechs?

well we cannot pull an engine from a timber to sell it for money and to swap one engine between all your 3 timbers
i doubt anything would change

Omni mechs have locked engines

IIC have unlocked engines

They can both be ClanXL engines but only one has to be and that is the Omni mechs.

Maybe PGI can make it a feature that you sell a clan chassis for reduced cost and gain the components in it.

Won't be economical at all but it's more sense then otherwise.
