Come on PGI, When are you going to get this mech into MWO! Think this is the model "verybad" did for the Mekpak.

I don't think the Mektek model got the look right, it's really supposed to look more like an Ebon Jaguar on steroids.

I don't think they could use it anyways, since it's someone else's work. I think Alex can come up with something better looking than that.

It is a 3052 mech, so the timing is right to add it in.

If PGI did a mech pack with the Fire Falcon, Black Lanner, Night Gyr and Turkina, sales would be through the roof!

Just reading the first 4 variants of the viper and they all are configured with equipment we have in-game.
I don't see a reason not to have it in the game.

EDIT: It would also be the only 4 variants they could make without having to create new ones *such as the SHC-P* or adding new weapons to the game.

Turkina, the widest, shortest and strangest looking mech. Between the invisible walls and bad geometry, that mech will be unplayable cuz it wont fit down 9/10 streets in the game...Its gunna be like 3 direwhales wide, while somehow, being just as tall....I can imagine it in game now, its gunna be more like an Ares then a Turkina....

I imagine it would be similar more to a King Crab in MWO.

Remember from the TRO's the King Crab was wide as hell too, and the Turkina was pretty close to that in width.

The King Crab is still wider than many mechs, but it's been made taller and somewhat more narrow than it's original design, as I'm pretty sure the original didn't include a waist joint and torso twist ability.

It's more than likely the Turkina will undergo a similar treatment if it ever comes into MWO. Made a little taller, a little narrower, and given a waist joint. Just like how the Cauldron Born and Nova were done too.

It will probably be scaled to similar size with the King Crab. They do share similar profile.

*edit* Ninjaed.

It's basically a Daishi-S with less pod space, critslots, hardpoints, and armor/structure.

With that being said, it does still pack more punch than almost anything *except* the Dire Whale (which is a direct upgrade in every way).

Actually, we will probably see a Kingfisher before a Turkina, need to fill that 90 ton slot.

Even though its a standard engine mech, it has 24 tons of pod space with 17 locked in DHS, and the hard points would probably be higher than an Executioner, so it would be able to Laser Vomit or Gauss/Vomit pretty effectively.

90t slot will be filled by the Highlander IIC, so it's anyones guess.

No, its what happens when you DFA a Dire Whale.

Some joker back on the Clan homeworlds saw the aftermath of a HGN DFA on a DWF and figured, hey, top brass, lets make a mech that looks like this...

CUz I mean, why else would it carry like 12 guns, just like the DWF!?

On paper, the Turkina seems like a pretty good mech but that's about it.

Any meta-assault players' wet dream won't happen until we get a 10 years jump in the timeline and the Blood Asp or the Fafnir becomes available. Until then, yay Direpups <3

Oh dear god the Blood Asp, the Mad Cat of the assault class...

ECM, JJs, high-mounted twin Gauss, plenty of auxiliary lasers. That mech would be the ultimate ggclose of this game. Game over man, game over.
