I don't think they could use it anyways, since it's someone else's work. I think Alex can come up with something better looking than that.
It is a 3052 mech, so the timing is right to add it in.
If PGI did a mech pack with the Fire Falcon, Black Lanner, Night Gyr and Turkina, sales would be through the roof!

Just reading the first 4 variants of the viper and they all are configured with equipment we have in-game.
I don't see a reason not to have it in the game.
EDIT: It would also be the only 4 variants they could make without having to create new ones *such as the SHC-P* or adding new weapons to the game.

I imagine it would be similar more to a King Crab in MWO.
Remember from the TRO's the King Crab was wide as hell too, and the Turkina was pretty close to that in width.
The King Crab is still wider than many mechs, but it's been made taller and somewhat more narrow than it's original design, as I'm pretty sure the original didn't include a waist joint and torso twist ability.
It's more than likely the Turkina will undergo a similar treatment if it ever comes into MWO. Made a little taller, a little narrower, and given a waist joint. Just like how the Cauldron Born and Nova were done too.

It will probably be scaled to similar size with the King Crab. They do share similar profile.
*edit* Ninjaed.

With that being said, it does still pack more punch than almost anything *except* the Dire Whale (which is a direct upgrade in every way).

The MLX crowd will probably like it.

Even though its a standard engine mech, it has 24 tons of pod space with 17 locked in DHS, and the hard points would probably be higher than an Executioner, so it would be able to Laser Vomit or Gauss/Vomit pretty effectively.

That looks like an unholy love child between a Timberwolf and a King crab...
Its kind'a fughly..
I like it.
No, its what happens when you DFA a Dire Whale.
Some joker back on the Clan homeworlds saw the aftermath of a HGN DFA on a DWF and figured, hey, top brass, lets make a mech that looks like this...
CUz I mean, why else would it carry like 12 guns, just like the DWF!?

Any meta-assault players' wet dream won't happen until we get a 10 years jump in the timeline and the Blood Asp or the Fafnir becomes available. Until then, yay Direpups <3

Oh dear god the Blood Asp, the Mad Cat of the assault class...
ECM, JJs, high-mounted twin Gauss, plenty of auxiliary lasers. That mech would be the ultimate ggclose of this game. Game over man, game over.
