Its perfect example of what F2P games should aim for - pay cosmetics rather than game play advantage (mechs with c-bill bonuses)

It has been called for years, but PGI doens't understand things quickly. Especially when IGP was onboard and now unchained they have alot of things to catch up.

C-bill bonuses are not game play advantages.

Well, i'd probably use twitter, but i don't think Russ ever acknowledged my existence there.
.
.
I really do hate the whole concept of twitter. Such a terrible form of communication. <_<
.
.
But it's not like they don't read the forums, because every time someone complains that they don't, they pop their heads in to prove otherwise.

Quite true. The negative ppl have made it difficult for them to interact without getting flamed for the smallest thing.

Its always funny too, because its typically in a heated debate and then out of nowhere Alex pops up out of the ground like a mole saying "yes we do, shut up" then disappears again.

Where do you think I got my sig from?

I wanted to add: DO EET!

Imagine if when you click "PLAY NOW" while searching for a match you see an animation of a pilot climbing into your selected mech powering up etc. all the while warning lights flashing in the background... An Astech waddles illuminated paddle thingies to guide you out of the Mech Bay...

#PGIPLZ#

I would just hit "Play Now"
"Watch animation"
"Cancel"
"Play Now"
...

Love all op's suggestions, id like to see them do more with it

As well as the mech turn table it would be nice to have them delivered by crane or walked onto the screen or perhaps the pad is also an elevator
It rubs me the wrong way having my mechs appear like a level 10 wizard

When looking at pilot skills and settings and other such non mech specific pages
It would be awesome if we got a look at some more things, like if it zoomed into the engineers on the console for settings or a engi looking into a hatch on the mech for modules, ect

Audio announcements for all manner of things over the hanger pa, clear bay 12, ,engineer dobbs answer the bay3 phone, staff sgt geiger report to command center, clean up crew to ilse 5... Ya know chit chat that goes over pa's . not often and not always audible but there breathing life into the hanger

I would love to see my mech keep its damage from the last match for 30 seconds or so with cranky engineers fussing over how bad you broke their machine (cause your mechs are not yours just so you know)

We really need a different hanger for clans, it would be even better to have full hanger make overs
One for each faction, completely themed and different to the others and of course available for MC

Overall the mechlab/hanger needs to be alot more busy

These are really nice ideas, but they MIGHT be a bit too much.
I think we need to take baby steps, dude. One small step at a time.

This, not so much. You are actually on a dropship. It should be different for the Clans because their smallest 'Mech carrier is a Broadsword rather than the Leopards every Successor State in the Inner Sphere uses.

I love the idea of a pilot climbing into a cockpit, but I would rather have a drop cradle come down and secure the 'Mech.

It would be really nice if the different tabs took you to different places. Home and Mechlab are the bay, Skills is the pilot quarters and Faction and Store are a briefing room with a holotable. Maybe even the return of the modules tab instead of them being under loadout it shows the cockpit with some open panels and clicking on a panel brings up a menu of what modules can go there.

Weren't Broadswords visually very similar to Leopards, though?
Besides, our mechlabs don't really seem like they're in the Leopards. Probably something bigger.

Extensively refitted and redesigned. Mechbay 5 is notable as a royal PITA, as equipment has to be hand carried into it, the ship's structure would have been too greatly compromised if they had put in proper cargo transfer access for it. If your mech is in bay 5 it better be in pristine condition, because every plate of armor, circuit board, beam focusing lens, cannon round, etc. has to be hand carried from the cargo hold to your machine.
