Two things: First, number of posts is no indication of time spent playing, Llymrel is right, for any game only a fraction of the players use the forums regularly. Second, yes ACHs are tough, but between experience and that vid up there I would disagree that they have buggy hit boxes. They don't need to be fixed in that sense, however given how tight the hit boxes are it makes sense to reduce or remove any positive structure quirks from them because it makes them much tougher than they should be. At least that is my opinion. Oh and I started in open beta, but I suppose someone with as few posts as I have must be lying.
Edit: Of course you could just hover the mouse over the user name and flat out tells you when the account was created... just some food for thought.
The shots could be flying through the arms, and just the tight hit boxes. I just haven't seen any other mech showing that level of tough to hit. I think ravens and spiders are almost too easy to kill. ACH, I assume the whole 12 mechs have to turn on them or they don't drop.
I do agree Lightfoot that the final death is likely a torso kill, but probably a leg taken off first for an ACH. LCT and Jenners tend to get cored before losing legs.
Any way it goes, I think most agree...something needs to be adjusted on the ACH.
