Tell you what. Fix the boxes on it at the same time you fix the SDR, CDR and FS9.

No it's more like you were running a 500hp engine in a 200hp class and are bitching that you've been reduced to only 350hp.

And spider. But I'm good with starting with the ACH as long as they get to the rest of the broken toys.

Why would you do this? You should be fixing the spin so that I can spin my mechs at the home screen! Plus, I can clearly see my Mech even in expanded view because I'm using a multi-monitor display.

But you forgot to increase the amount of trees from 40000 to 50000.

Wouldn't this be an interesting shore? Knockdown-able trees right up to the water giving mechs of all heights cover till they're on top of each other or in the water? Fun fun.

First a 4+ month preorder wait, then a 6 month lock... Well at least i was there when the game could afford to release a mech a month with a few weeks for a Cbill release.

Pretty minor nerf, still indisputably a top 2 light. You want every mech you buy to be the best ever so you can have an easy button??
ie: "If I can't autowin, I won't play."
Remember when the Ember was the pinnacle of ridiculousness? Sure it was fun, but I wasn't under any delusion that the mech wasn't broken. I mean, I could solo Atlases in them back when that actually meant something.

Liking a broken toy or rule does not make it morally/ethically right. In fact, liking it because it is broken makes it even more wrong.

Also one question:
Was it that OP that it required a nerf?

It would be able to run around red and get hit allot by 3 mechs.
Alpha's didn't stop it.
I thought broken hitboxes-FIX and a minus 5-10 km/h would be a good thing, but it could have been the high quirks.
THey kept it this long so the payed players could keep there fun.

I never felt nearly as over powering in my arch than my fs personally the only thing the arch has over my fs is the insane jump ability it nearly flies compared to it but I still do more damage average in my fs due to it being able to field 8 spl and fire them pretty quickly.

Seems to be on par with the earlier packs. It always took a while. The monthly mechs were quicker to c-bill releases though.

they make money off of the paying players just the same I.S or Clan. nerfing any mech is going to change game play obviously but this is a good thing, it shows us PGI do care about the player base and is trying to make both sides happy.

The tipping point is likely the Clan XL, as it often is. A Cheetah with one side torso removed is still fairly dangerous whereas a Firestarter missing a side torso is dead. I've had tons of games in the Cheetah where I escaped a bad spot with a side torso missing, and I was able to do more damage, remain a distraction and ultimately survive the match. Lose a leg in either mech and you're probably equally dead.
I'll say it again, Cheetah Prime and A arm pods should have kept the structure quirks to encourage other builds like SRM and ER smalls. Removing the energy weapon quirks from the C variant, fine I guess. Still probably could have kept the structure on the 2E arms, but whatever.
Moving on.
The Cheetah never should have had such strong leg structure quirks in the first place. Keep the minor arm/torso durability quirks for all I care. 57 hit point legs (28 armor, 14 structure, 15 from quirks). Firestarter, despite being 5 tons heavier, only has 48 hit point legs (32 armor, 16 internal structure).
This should have been the focus of the quirk pass, not all the other stuff.
