Any chance of a resource raid type mode? It would probably work a bit like capture the flag.

Ok, question got answered. That restored some faith. Thank you, sirs, sincerely and seriously. Now, please, I'm begging . . . I WANT to spend LOTS of money on this game, but I can't bring myself to do it because Flamers haven't been touched, yet (seriously, I want to put Hot Rod on ALL of my mechs . . . that's a LOT of pattern purchases). So, PLEASE knock them out for the major rebalancing.

Please, I'm seriously begging here. Everyone has their little personal baby in this game . . . every hardcore Battletech fan has some chassis or weapon system that they just love. For me it's Firestarters and Flamers. I got Firestarters, and I thank you for that. Now I just need my Flamers. Battletech just doesn't feel right without them.

Paul, asking here because of what's involved. Timetable of possibilities, please? Not demanding exacts . . . just rough estimates. Is it possible for the rebalancing?

EDIT: Also edited and placed on my page 1 post. Thank you, again, and please make it happen for the major rebalance.

There was a disturbance in the MercNet. Something about... Marauder? I was summoned.

Where are these transcripts. I saw the concept art section (thank you b33f), and I heard the words "completed art for Warhammer." I want to read the rest.

I was watching at work (overtime $$ baby), with the Twitch feed going. It cut out and wouldn't reload the stream about 15 seconds after the word Marauder was uttered. No idea about the release or cost since the feed cut out on me, but pics went up on social media after.

Exactly, I'm asking if they could ask:) because they should

Maybe even make a rough draft what kind of they want or just give free hands.
Even put in a monetary reward so people can justify putting more hours polishing it than they normally would.

But... the AC must be mounted above to the center torso, not on side torso (as shown in the picture)!..

I've included the in game icon size, which is 16x16. These are quite easy to differentiate, as they are coloured to match each pack as it appears both on the order page and the "new" badges.

OMG those Marauders looks good!!

Since they have to "redesign them", I would like that they add that Ballistic cannon they have on the right torso also to the left, so there are TWO barrels, not one..

I like symetry.. :P

Could be just one variant with that, as long as there is one..

Is the Marauder a Clan or IS mech?

December first I believe.

It will feature the Marauder in 2 packs, 20 dollar pack and 40 dollar pack. I think it will also include the hero bounty hunter marauder.

And I think it will be called classics, or phoenix, or phoenix II as I heard talk that it may be added on like the saber reinforcement pack to the phoenix 1 pack.

Bushwacker is out of time line and to many variants out to later parts, I will not bet this is the next medium.

the problem with this is they have to put A LOT of effort into a procedural map system, and then they need lots of work to polish it up and so on and on and on.

The problem is procedural systems suffer is it is to expensive to focus on just to make a few maps. It is much more worth it for things that is much more larger and extensive or replayable, things like terraria or minecraft for example is a good one.

or semi procedural like FTL or HA are also examples on how it is used on worlds or other items.

It isn't worth it for things like these and MW: O needs a bit more polish then what a PG can do. On top of that it takes lots of tunning to get the procedural system to work flawlessly-ish. ...

Would you rather have no new maps that are good for the next 4 years only for a few maps to come out then and be done with.


I think a earlier town hall said this was not a good idea that or maybe a tweet. I forgot but I remember a lot of points about the procedural system- it also cuts away creativity from the artist.

I would like the current maps to be polished first and foremost. No invisible wall, no pebbles to get stuck on. That's worth more to me than new maps and mechs. Oh and I like them to be consistent. Some patchs look like they are traversable but are not while the opposite is tru in other cases.

It is a 75 ton Inner sphere mech- and there is no symetry for this thing, there is some that is more ballanced for missiles and lasrs but depends if they are added.

Marauder II also is a inner sphere mech that may or may not be symetrical

Marauder IIC is Clan, which is a 85 assault mech that may be more symetrical... but is very E heavy.

Everything in that Townhall is vague. If you are happy with vague information so be it. I am certainly not.
