A few medium and small lasers, and a few machine guns...

What about the SRM arm for the viper? that's pretty usefull right?...
Look at the nova right now that you started dismissing... look at it. That thing can have 4 more E hardpoints then the viper or more while having 2 SRM 6's instead of 1...

What about simple energy boating?... literally every clan mech besides the mist lynx does that better- this includes the ice ferret which is faster, the arctic cheetah that jumps higher and is around the same speed or more. and the nova which is a bit slower but can do 14 energy hardpoints... or 12 energy 4 ballistic which still beats the E total one AND the ballistics.


overall- the viper doesn't add much. It would be slightly cool if we didn't just got this new lovely nova, but sadly not the case

On top of that: the mech "Pouncer" is a very simular mech but more akin to the Adder and it is unique for a medium/ 40 tonner. Granted Nova A does mimic the prime a bit, the A and B quickly turns it into the best 40 tonner LRM boat in game. better then the 3 LRM 5 ice ferret or the 2 LRM 5/ 10 Viper.

It also has jumpjets too.


Overall, viper doesn't have much running for it. I will think it would be better to add it when PGI gets serious with clan quirks and have a single idea what they are doing.

the same world where I can fit more then 2 tons of ammo on an executioner. (even then due to MW4 days I would rather put 2 UAC 10's and a ER medium laser... this was the first mech I used to win the coliseum championships), even then the 2 UAC 20 mech is a bit of an exagerated build much like the 6 AC 5 mauler, the 4 LBX10 mauler, the 4 UAC 20 direwolf, the 3 Gauss rifle Cataphract, the 3 LBX 10 cataphract, or the 2 LRM 20 raven. it still has the viability and in CW is a good quick defence mech to ruin the day of 4+ enemies very quickly. It depends on your aim though- akin to the gauss raven or due lgauss mad dog.

On top of that- the viper would have less then 2 tons of ammo for most weapons. your point?

Most of the Mechs I am eligible for (I think I will be eligible for all but the EXE as I only went to EBJ on wave 3 and I am pretty sure I purchased wave 2 in 2014) are Mechs I am likely to use.
I have barely touched the x2 AS7-S and x2 KCG from last year as I do not really like Assaults, especially 100 tonners.

Damn I really do wish PGI a long and prosperous life if they keep having these awesome birthday bashes.
4 new mechs for free. Hell yeah. Glad I supported PGIs effords this year so much.
Then again I was very pleased with what they did. Nice to get some additional ROI.

But now I need some more mechbays and cockpit items. Hey, can't you throw in a MC sale? Might feel inclined to direct
some gaming money your way that was planned for something else.
Also some tournament for some items would be great to. Cause you know cockpit items.

I used AMS ammo to represent the extra slots and tonnage that's make up the difference between a UAC/10 and a UAC/20. You have to skimp on armour, obviously, but you can fit four tons of ammo. That's 28 shots (or 14 double-taps), or 560 damage potential in concentrated 80pt bursts. I'm sure it will be a fun build to run for the lulz, and probably rather effective if played well, too.

First of all, thanks PGI, i like this rewards!

But i´m a bit confused about the conditions to get them. Loyalty is, if i spend money to support the game and you as company. I spend money for a max Resistance packet month before it was released, and since you invented the gift shop, i changed to buy my mechs there. So, i guess im loyal, but don´t get any loyalty, because i choose the wrong way to show this?

I´m a bit disappointed...
