Resistance II IS, Wave III Clan, Origins IIC Clan, and Marauder were all this year. If you purchased those, you should qualify for free stuffs.

I bought all of the top packages (except UrbanMech -- I will never ever own an UrbanMech) before their Early Adopter deadlines and I verified through E-mail that I qualify for every reward. They were quick about it too -- only took a couple of hours to find out.

I don't have perfect memory but im missing only Origins IIC and Marauder this year and if I'm not wrong everything else was preordered before 2015, so can't qualify for some rewards because I'm not allowed to rebuy some packages... a little awkward situation. Any way I'll send email to CS to check what I'm qualifying for and what not to make some proper steps in right direction...

Resistance II is available since the end of April 2015...

Well, this is really wierd, a 100 matches since Jan 1, 2015 is considered as an active player? You must be kidding me? How about those who play almost every day or so? And not a single match and quit. Thats an active player.... but... whatever...

I know PGI is trying to say thanks to all those that have spent $$$ on this game but is kind of a slap in the face with the overwelming hard points on the Nova and EXE they are passing out. Now if it was some thing that would set them apart from the other mechs in those chassis then it would be worth it but a ballistic and a missle hard point only on the Nova. Then you have an awesome over kill on the EXE with a hard point for energy, ballistic and missle each. Then you have the IS mechs that you are giving out which my self I dont have any others to go with them and probably will never get them either so will have some paperweights at that point. I know its a sales gimmick to get the players to invest in those mechs to master them out. Instead of passing out stuff that some or most may not want do some thing that will help the players in the long run. Why not drop some decent c bills in their accounts and let them get mechs they might want.

To hell with that! I want my 30% Cbill Nova! I've contemplated buying a clan package just to get one... getting one for free is awesome! :D I don't care what the hardpoints are, it's an omnimech! It can have whatever hardpoints I want it to.

I know there were a few people back when the Koala came out who were hoping for this variant, just so they could have dual ballistic arms. What they think they are going to do with that is beyond me, though. It just doesn't have the free tonnage. (Don't get me wrong, I love the mech, it's just not a ballistic boat)

Dual UAC-5 is possible, and has enough tonnage for spamming some small/medium lasers to supplement damage. Don't think the right arm ballistic really helps for that. I like the left arm for the lower arm/hand actuator, which frees up the energy boat right arms a bit more when you unlock arms.

My best Koala uses dual UAC-5 in the right torso, 3-4 medium lasers in the right arm, and a few SPLs in the left arm. Exact loadout changes a bit, depending on how I'm doing and the maps in rotation that day. Extra hot day I might downgrade lasers a bit for more ammo. Some how the mech magically maintains some of my best scores (was over 3.5 KDR for the longest time, currently still around 3.0, and with ~450 dmg per match it's also tops in that category for me) and many of my best matches are in it. Runs reasonably cool, and is often underestimated.

Note: I don't own any Dire Wolves, which might puke out more damage but obviously at the cost of being super slow and lame. Was once my favorite mech in MW4, but I don't feel the urge to drive it these days.

HI Tina, Russ, Paul and others at PGI.

There seems to be a huge disconnect here. As Robomomo, myself and several other players have posted in this thread, there are players who purchased packages in November and December of 2014 that have not qualified for ANY rewards program. This includes the Year 1 Customer Appreciation which ended October 2014, the Piranhna Appreciation which ran Dec. 15th, 2015 to Feburary 2015 and the current 2015 Customer Appreciation program.

Players, like myself, that preorder the Resistance Package in November or before December 15th, or others who purchased MC in November/December did not qualify under any Rewards program. Please reconcile with Tina's statement below responding to Robomomo2000. Thank you.

Ok, so we still haven't gotten a direct, and not at all obscure answer to the question; Are those who pre-ordered the first Resistance early not getting the Zues? If so I would appreciate knowing why this choice was made to reward people who paid late and throw those who payed early under the bus.

Tina please enlighten me.

This is because there were appreciation rewards for players who bought them last year.

Great point. I would not qualify anyways but that is a great point.

Not to be pedantic, but technically, you pre-ordered, and did get rewarded for pre-ordering. I don't know if there are any players out there that qualified for both.

However, the players that qualified for neither are definitely the ones that deserve the most consideration here.

This is a bit on the aggressive side, wouldn't you say?

While I disagree with the guy, I'd still not hit that hard.

"PEDANTIC" - fussy.

Okay. I guess I'm being fussy too. PGI is free to set whatever start and cut-off dates for these reward they want. I'm curious about Tina's response regarding Resistance preorders which I quoted above, "This is because there were appreciation rewards for players who bought them last year."

This really muddies the issue, as if as Tina says, preorder customers were suppose to get Appreciation Awards last year, but did not, I would like to know which Award I should have received so I can email PGI and have them fix it.

Don't get me wrong, I understand your position, and empathize. I personally think they really should make it so the rewards are from January to December, and you get them on new year's eve. Instead of this weird system we have now.

Oh we did, I am in the same boat as you, what they gave was duplicate mechs from the 1st year customer rewards.

So I have 2 Cents 2 King Crabs and 2 Atlases with the Angel paint jobs, oh let me tell how much I use those second copies.

Wait, I have never used them.

I believe that a year is still 12 months unless that has changed and no one has informed the general public.

The sucky part is that you can't sell the duplicates, at least the last time I tried. So I stripped them down, and named them "sell1" "sell2" etc. Now what am I supposed to do with them?

Maybe I should test it out when I get home and see if I can finally sell them... Otherwise I'm calling them "The Unwanted", kind of like "The Unseen", because it sounds cooler that way. B)

Support will remove the duplicates for you at your request and you will get to keep the mech bays and anything you stripped off of them, but you will not get any kind of credit for them.
