Glad to see PGI is doing this again. And some very cool variants, indeed.

Yeah, I'd like a more fleshed out CW. There are some balance things that are still a nuisance. But even though I have nto always agreed with the directions chosen, and sometimes wish it would move faster, I can't say that PGI hasn't made progress. Big difference between "doing nothing" and "not doing things MY way!" which, IMO, is most of the diehard whining.

But seeing things like this (yes, I know it's business driven....get people to step up and upgrade, etc), the Urbanmech, the soon to be available Marauder, map remodels, etc? It is something.

So, thanks PGI. I look forward to my new goodies.

A lot of people throw out all kinds of drek Piranha's way, and frankly I expect a lot of "this is just a cold, cynical business decision to drive pack sales" horse manure thrown around concerning these things.

To that I say "A'ight, then. I'll take your FIVE FREE 'MECHS and other assorted goodies."

I hear ya, Bishop. Sometimes the decisions these guys make have me grinding my teeth or questioning my/their sanity...but they do tend to hit the high points, and they've done more than a lot of games do to try and answer their players' needs. I still feel bad sometimes for spending as much money here as I have...but I feel less bad than I used to, and this is still MechWarrior.

Thanks for all the free fish, Piranha. Now gimme some Marauder IICs...

Some of us are easier to please than others as well...

I heard the little bit that they did say about CW, and that all sounded good, plus I get a free hero Cicada?

I guess I'm a cheap date, but I'm happy.

(Oh, and even not being an old-school BT fanboy, I'm still excited by the Marauder, thing just looks mean)

I agree. Some people just love to be negative and overlook the free stuff we're getting. Well said Bishop.

You are welcome Tina. My armor might not be as shiny white as some here think, but I do think that for the most part, you guys are working hard, and trying to give us what we want. But when you ask 5 mechwarriors what they want, and get 5 different answers, I can see where it can be tough to please everyone.

Keep it up, let's see how Year Three goes, and here's to hoping we see more CW, more role warfare, more Unseen Mechs and hopefully a resurrected Transverse now "identifying" as Aerotech.........

I've been well pleased by the progress MWO has made over the past year, and the anniversary bonuses are a wonderful thank-you.

I do sort of wish that the MC loyalty mech didn't require a purchase within the 2015 calendar year - two top-level MC purchases have made it a little hard to spend enough to make more MC buys necessary. I'll probably pick up a lowest-tier MC pack just to qualify, but it'd be a nice gesture if I didn't have to.

PGI is doing a great job.
far better than the players that forget that they can learn to play and keep playing like stationary turrets hiding behind walls and mountains to get rekt in the most stupid way.

that will never stop.

Yeah, I might spring for the Executioner upgrade so I can get the bonus one. I gave the Executioner a whirl after the Cbill release and they're actually not bad mechs. The Nova is one of my favorites, because I'm weird and apparently like driving underdog mechs, so that's cool.

The Wolverine fits perfectly for my IS account on which I have 3 Wolverines already, all elited at least. Maybe I'll sell one of my least favorites, god knows I could use the Cbills. The Zeus isn't really a Kurita mech so I'm ok with not getting that, and between my new Maulers and my old Stalkers, my IS alt is all set in the assault department. And the Cicada is just icing. Icing I'm not sure I'll ever use, but hey, it's free.

My only complaint is I have to wait clear until October to get all these cool new toys :P On the other hand, it'll give me time to rack up some C-bills to kit them all out properly when I do get my hands on them.

Better yet, they can send me yours. I'll gladly take it, I actually did pretty decent in mine. It'd save me $35.

The Wolverine, 1st and newest IS mechw with MASC. I wonder how that will pan out since you have 2 Ballistic slots, 2 Missiles and 1 energy to work with, Although I could slap 2 AC2s on it and 2 SRM 6 and a pulse with MASC and go around fast!

The Cicada? Poptarts, poptarts everywhere now... but that's okay, it's only 40 tons, can't do much.

Yeah, add me to this list. We can all be so negative at times (or perhaps passionate is a better word), but it's very nice when something like this happens. Congrats on a good (and productive) first two years and many, many more.
