I'll probably even go buy a token amount of MC in order to get the free Cicada, then turn around and spend those MC on an X-5. I'll level up the X-5 this weekend, and use the c-bills earned to buy a 3M and then level that up as well. I'll be all set for mastery when the free 3F drops.
Would love to get the Zeus (left side peeker), but R2 is just meh to me. If the 4 bonus variants couldn't convince me to get R2 while the early adopter awards were available, one more Zeus isn't going to do it now, either.

I'm most excited for the Cicada. That will make 5 Cicadas I own! Truly the master mech race.
PS - The Nova is a bit of an oddity...

Too bad I bought the resistance 1 pack in 2014
Wonder why October/november/december never counts for the Loyalty rewards Not really complaining, just curious haha

I am complaining. This is kinda unfair for early adopters.
Or am I the only one who thinks so?

This is a good approximation of how most of the community is feeling right now. Not just about the rewards, but even the townhall

I think that's mostly a phrasing thing. They do say the collections are eligible. However, just in case, someone should send that Tina's way. Hopefully she'll clarify it for us.

Yeah, I'd like a more fleshed out CW. There are some balance things that are still a nuisance. But even though I have nto always agreed with the directions chosen, and sometimes wish it would move faster, I can't say that PGI hasn't made progress. Big difference between "doing nothing" and "not doing things MY way!" which, IMO, is most of the diehard whining.
But seeing things like this (yes, I know it's business driven....get people to step up and upgrade, etc), the Urbanmech, the soon to be available Marauder, map remodels, etc? It is something.
So, thanks PGI. I look forward to my new goodies.
Yeah it's something, the freebie's are a nice touch but I ain't spending or getting pumped until I see the Warhammer screen shot, I do actually want to get excited, but sadly, I think Battle master, rather than Atlas, and nothing of any great note since closed beta, 12v12 showed progress (which quite a few are bemoaning) I got really pumped over CW, which turned out to be death match with doors and respawn, on maps which are long thing and channel you giving you less tactical options.
Solaris is not progress its more of the same with another wrapper, which the proles are gagging for, thinking its going to save the game.. re-balancing is not progress, its getting things right that were wrong, so wrong it seems that two new ways of balancing seem to be needed..
Show me genuine changes to the game, and I'll get pumped and put out the party streamers

I qualify for all 5 mechs and as I said in the 1st anniversary thread that was bumped, I'm just happy with an event. Anything else is icing on the cake. This is a 2nd and 3rd cake as far as I am concerned.
Also Russ specifically mentioned how someone bought the Masakari package last week or so and thats why they were allowing past packages to still count as long as they were bought this year. That was totally me, so you are all welcome

The information page makes it pretty clear all purchases prior to January 1st, 2015 don't count towards these bonuses. You can still ask, but that's going to be the answer. I won't get the bonus Executioner unless I upgrade my Wave III, for instance, because my Wave I & II were all before that date. Which is fine, because I already got the KGC, Centurion, and Mad Dog from those. Sure, it'd be awesome if they wanted to keep showering me with gifts from those purchases, but I can hardly be mad they aren't.

This is correct.
That will put the early adopters in a weird spot.
Although, technically, they did get their own appreciation reward in the form of 4th variants, and extra goodies. I do understand their plight though.

But you should consider doing something extra special for all of the founders because they helped make MWO possible too
just a thought
