so what you needed to do was nerf the awesome so it would stack up against the other inner sphere AND clan mechs; okay - i don't know what your line of thinking was, but i can deal with it when go out on the field. i assume they will also get their share of nerfs.

but just what were they thinking when they nerf the turn on the 8r to other variants, everything they have done so far has been detrimental to putting SRMS on the awesome and really discouraging for anyone who's ever played the honeybadger 8r - so what
now the 8r is a lurmboat only?

THIS HAS GOT TO GO.

i see they have also nerfed the atlas in some ways - i don't have the complete picture yet; but just judging variant to variant; this is VERY poorly thought out

UNNERF THE TURN RATE OF 8R NOW

the splatcat paranoia has spread too far and too long

and fix srms for everybody. will the insults to srm users never end?

its funny that the 8r gets the most severe of turn negative quirks, what?

the 9m only gets -5 instead of the 8r's -10.
and laser is more reliable than srm. so what was the thinking here?????????

why don't you just black out the option to put SRMS in my mech, instead of mocking me like this

Eh, it took them months to remove all quirks and replace them with structure quirks? Lol? Am I misreading this?

Yeah, can't say that I'm terribly impressed with what I'm seeing either. Not sure how they figure this is going to change the meta at all unless they have all their fingers and toes crossed that debuffing ecm range is somehow going to flip the world upside down.

Pinpoint front loaded damage and laser vomit doesn't need targets to do what it does.

How big is this test install?

Is this for real? If so, this is pretty awful. I'm not seeing the "rebalance" part. Just a general nerfing of bad chassis that needed heavy quirks to compete. I guess that means Cataphracts and Shadow Hawks will be meta again.

Doesn't appear to be at all worth that download. Sorry PGI, I thought you were going to make an actual effort at this the way you talked about it.

Thanks to you guys for taking a 7 gig'er for the team!

Yikes. Aside from the Atlas (especially the D), seems like some major nerfs. Awesome is useless again, Highlander/Victor no jump quirks, Stalker got neutered, Battlemaster got shat on. Who thinks these up?

Agreed, thanks Othello. The enforcer 5P, that torso twist nerf, holy smokes. Was it that OP?

You guys missed out the Changes to modules... It should be considered a buff/nerf..
Commando DK gets a buff in that area. 3 Mech, 2 Weapon, 1 Mech/Weapon, 2 Consumable..

Perhaps many of you don't remember but a lot of mechs (The Dragon comes to mind) were utterly useless before weapons quirks. They were meant to make certain variants relevant. Eliminating these are going to make those mechs useless again. the atlas will no longer be relevant, gone will be the black jack, the dragon, the awesome, the thunderbolt, the raven, and many other *coughallcough* IS mechs. If they enact these changes, the clans will be the only things that will be good anymore. Also, they must be sick of supporting Community Warfare because no one is going to play it as IS after these changes. So go ahead and buy your clan packages boys, cuz PGI is going to kill the inner sphere.

anyone else noticing that after sticking to their guns about pay2win for so long, they have finally flip-flopped, they are now buffing money only mechs (heroes) far more than the c-bill only options
