I happen to like running a ERPPC poker/scout Shadowcat on live. I run ECM, BAP, and the sensor range module on it. I can get locks are extreme range without the other team noticing most of the time.
Tried it on PTR and wow, screw that. By the time I can get a lock, I've be spotted. The SHC doesn't have the armor to survive combat spotting. Just not worth trying to scout with. Infact, with the limited hardpoints, I think this mech won't be leaving the hangar after the PTR patch goes live.

Tried again. SHC was poking great with an AC2 and ERPPC and still couldn't get a lock on anyone. The only locks I've seen all night have been from UAVs and brawls.

If the SHC stays like it is in the PTS... I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Not enough hardpoints to use light weapons.
Not enough tonnage to use heavy weapons.
Not enough armor to fight straight up.
Not enough speed to "scout" (or light fight)
And new and improved:
Not enough agility to flank.
Unsatisfactory is putting it lightly.
Constructive feedback? At the very least: NUKE THE TORSO TURN NERF.
(Especially since the Center torsos are not different in the slightest. Unless of course you paid PGI cash for your Shadow Cat in Wave three, at which point you will have been shafted..)

My only issue is the fact I can't scout with the SHC now. Weapon range greatly exceeds my sensor range.

After more testing I think the target acquisition time is the problem. I can lock onto a cicada out to 800-850M in the testing ground, but the target acquisition time really hinders info gathering in a real match when you can't afford to expose yourself.
