There's no reason to punish those mechs because some of them have a C-Bill boost.

The way clan mechs currently seem to work is that the CT has a "base" that is mostly in the negatives, and all the omnipods then provide "buffs" to compensate for it.
Pretty much allowing you to "pick your nerfs" after you place all your omnipods.
But obviously, the super spiffy 6-7 hard point for one location is probably going to garner you further nerfs, while those locations with zero or only a single hardpoint, or hard points that provide more "low slung" mounts.
Personally, I like this change.
It adds value to those omnipods, and actually incentives the "zero hard point" locations by providing positive quirks. So taking something like a warhawk with only 3-4 total hard points on a low slung arm can actually end up buffing your mech,
But taking say, a timberwolf S side torso with a Timberwolf A side torso, on top of a C body with even more hardpoints on arms ultimately sees you needing to not only eat those negative quirks on the CT, but also probably add more to your "ultimate meta wolf."
The CT quirks don't seem to be negative quirks for negative quirks sake, they seem to be more of a "realocation" of the total quirk value of the mech to then inject enough quirks into alternative locations of the mechs to where you don't just mindlessly go for the best omnipods out there. On the mech.
Personally, I like the direction of this system, but it seems it needs more tuning, and for people to actually test the REAL values of these things. Stuff like the S needs to be stomped out and brought into line with the rest, then we'll see where much of this really lines up.

The question then begs. Why spend real money on heros? If they get nerfed, why buy them? Are you going to tell me you nerfed me because of the c-bill boost? That is BS.

Ok, I'm sorry, but EVERYTHING got a global nerf right now.
Its not just IS, its not just clans.
EVERYTHING went down. (Probably because so many have been complaining about overall TTK for years now.)
IS just got ALL of their weapon quirks removed, and HEAVEN forbid that clans have to deal with a bit of mobility or Information warfare quirks to balance the sheets.
Clans still have pound for pound more useful weapons especially now that quirks are removed, and now, all those people who complained that Clans should have their mobility affected more then their weapon quirks on things like the crow and Timberwolf now have a system where they can either choose between their super uber firepower omnipods, their agility, their protection, or their info warfare. Its no longer just a binary "This omnipod is CLEARLY better then the other" system that the live server has.

Not only did everything go down.
The CT nerfs are easily overcome by the new Omnipod buffs. As referenced in a number of other threads.
This thread should be locked and deleted. It offers nothing helpful.
Actually add up the other parts buffs, let us know what youve found
Its not punishment ffs. Youre not being punished. Your toy is not being punished. You werent bad. Neither was your toy. Infact your toy was way better than the other kids toys, and theyre now TESTING a way to make your toy, and their toys, more compatible to play together.
Christ whats wrong with some people.

TimberGod and Whale both got significant buffs.
Take the CT with the least amount of nerfs, and load up with the minimum number of hardpoints needed, and the buffed 'Pods meant to offset those CT nerfs...BAM, you've got yourself an overquirked monstrosity with multiple double digit positive quirks.
They failed hard on that one. SadCat, Badder and Myth Lynx retain double digit negative quirks, while the God Tier get buffed even higher.
That's without looking at the Locust, Urbie or Commando.

Please re-read the title. I said nothing about Clan CTs getting nerfed as a whole. I said the primes and IS Heroes were penalized compared to every other variant.
The ACH-C is now the best ACH by far on the PTS. The EBJ-A is the best EBJ--it actually got buffed.
Go compare the hero quirks to non-hero quirks. The Heroes got penalized relative to the rest of the variants.
