I'm earnestly setting up my variants and trying to see/feel where they differ compared to each other, but I have to say this: Not one brings something along that's memorable. While the late tiny-steps-quirks on the Summoner failed to revamp the chassis, they at least left an impression and I planned my builds accordingly. Now - on the second day of testing - I can't even remember which omnipods are giving what boost or penalty and I don't really care.

I find myself thinking less and barely planning - instead I am back to looking at the hardpoints and ignoring the rest. I am not building for the fastest possible targeting information, but fall back to aiming exclusively by sight. I am not interested in longer target information retention as I intend to be out of sight fast when piloting Summoners.

I do like the the customization via module-slots, on a more positive note.
