While I was typing a reply, the forum logged me out. There was no notification of any kind. When I then hit post, it deleted my reply and posted NOTHING, leaving me to retype the entire thing after logging in again. If I was logged in when I started typing, then under no circumstances should it refuse to post, and there should certainly never be any situation in which everything I typed should vanish irrecoverably.

Copy the text before you hit reply, just to be safe.
Happened to me before, so I always copy after I'm done.
