In general flavour of the Dragon Bowling of olde, how about giving the Dragon a damage resistance against collisions as well as a damage bonus versus other mechs resulting from collision. Dragons are blocky mechs, and look pretty intimidating when they're barreling towards you.

Also, it's TT friendly.
The Dragon has crappy weapons (except the 1G) but... when it charges 8 hexes it does 48 damage. So, charging and melee was always their biggest source of damage IMO.
It's especially evil against the support mechs with PPC and LRMs since they just can't fight back and often don't have hand actuators to punch with.
