catapults and atlases are in the lead just as i thought they would be but i imagined atlases would be the lead mech not the catapult oh well just means il have to watch out for catapults more then i thought i would have to. personally im going to pilot a spider for its unmatched mobility that makes its minimal armament lethal.

No and no.

Thor, Daishi, Mad Cat, Vulture, Cougar, Nova Cat, Cauldron-Born, etc. are all Clan mechs.

The thing is, since the game is starting in 3049 and the Clans invadde in 3050 (2013 IRL), you'll have to wait about a year post-launch to get their mechs. For now, find yourself an IS mech. They are better and funnier to pilot.

Cataphract, to hell and back again. I'm a better support pilot than brawler, but sometimes one just needs to stride in and bust heads, and the Cataphract does both very well.

Should have read the whole thread first, just couldn't resist through. that damn Urban Mech; light mech, slow, weak, and armed with an AC 10. Once you get in range the battles end rather quick.
