And this is why the Lyran's train their scouts in an atlas much safer, all that extra speed other scouts have is just a liability

So the MCY-97 / 99 will be in the game?

ComStar probably blames the housing project for being there.

The likely chance that it will be ranges from anywhere to No/Probably/Yes.

hmm.. the mercury 97 was, to my understanding, mostly gone from the innersphere at this point.

Its also interesting because it had a modular repair system that was considered the immediate predecessor to omnimech technology.

I'd love to know where the ComGuards are training that there's a danger of their Mechs wandering into housing projects. I mean, if an out-of-control Mech can go plowing into the buildings, one would think the buildings would also be within weapons range.

Also: It's just like ComStar to be more concerned with salvaging the Mech than helping the people left homeless by their incompetence. One wonders how many people were killed by 20 tons of Mech moving at 130km/ph colliding with a building....

Hunh. Didn't realize the ComGuards were common knowledge by this point. And testing such an advanced 'Mech near a private sector? I would initially think every on both sides (civvies and the ComStar officials in charge of the testing) would be "silenced," but the fact that it made news (sent across HPG channels, no less) would suggest otherwise.
