I like that this drew much more attention than following days newspost - again, its kinda canon - mercury 97 was a comguard mech for sure... but most left in exodus in years prior. makes sense that it would be relegated to training mech in some ways cause its modular repair system meant it could be repaired super quick but the cost was exhorbitant... just a super rare mech on the beserk? okays..

"one would think the buildings would also be within weapons range."

Weapons in B-Tech are guided by extremely sophisticated targeting and computer systems. They do not just randomly hit buildings in the manner you imply.

All I can think of is the agent asking Jerry if his Mech was up a tree. :)

It's just like ComStar to be more concerned with salvaging the Mech than helping the people left homeless by their incompetence. One wonders how many people were killed by 20 tons of Mech moving at 130km/ph colliding with a building....

Well, I can bet the political correctness forces of the mainstream media SJ haters ComStar surely are not outraged by this news flash.....you would think that this would be "reprehensible" and "horrifying" let alone "condemned" and the resulting offender who piloted that mech punished.....oh wait.

Ah double standards.....how it amazes me. Then again its what happens when a single organization controls the entire mass media...... :)
