The fact that the Huggin gets +50% missile quirks and is still so much rarer than the laser ravens speaks for itself, I think.
what it speaks to is that more people find it easier to hill hump from 1000 meters away, rather than sneak up on an assault and SRM then in the back.

And i'd like to have a word with everyone who pilots them.
And by word i mean AC20+3xSRM6 to the face.
Huginns are the most frustrating and annoying mechs you can encounter on the battlefield. I'd rather fight a duo of Arctic Cheetah and Firestarter than a single Huginn. The cockpit shake from their SRMs makes me physically nauseous.

Not sure if SRMs actually suck, but there are simply better alternatives for me.

Of course.
High and instant convergence pinpoint dmg all da way.
but still there are players asking for fixing weapons and such, instead of "dat thing".

And unlike lasers and ballistics, don't go over their optimum range of 270m with reduced damage.
I feel that they SHOULD have a tighter spread while in the 270m range and after that they'd spread apart in random directions (instead of just exploding for no reason after reaching it)
Kind of like when it shoots at the Jenner (0:50) and the missiles that don't connect, instead of exploding mid-air, simply go off in random directions.

The added range on the csmplas is one of the factors that makes the ACH a deadly pain in the a** instead of just a pain.
Yes it is possible to make really good srm groups and to do very well with them in solo, but that same level of skill output could help the team more reliably with a different build.

If by chance you magically kill a Light with it, you might as well call hax.
It's more reliable when you chain fire... and it's easier to hit Assaults ... even if the Light isn't moving that fast.

They will gladly have words with you. At 300 meters. Jumping around and weaving.

It's a hit reg issue. If you shoot more than 8-12 SRMs HSR can't deal with it and thus fails to register some or all of the damage.

As these two typically use chain fire or duo fire SRM4s the oxide and huginn don't overrun HSR frequently.

But if she don't like you, you better drop with another mech. Chainfiring can help a bit with hitreg, but then you have way too long facetime and spread the damage even more than you should.
