ive been dropping in cw all night. unfortunately the underhive is leaking in so there are lots of lerm bots and trial mechs on both sides. also lost my points from a victory because the game dced me at the last minute with no time to come back in. it didnt count against me at least so i assume it was a server side flop.

At first I thought you get the prizes for every map, so if you do 400 match score on caustic, thats 2 prizes.

But after some forum-ing and reading again I was like



Not only that 400 match score is not that common, even if you carry a match. But farming it for every single map? That could take ages...
And if I understood that right, CW match score of 300 is more or less impossible when you pug there and get stomped most of the time.

So I'll play something else ths weekend I guess...

I highly recommend Thalos Principles to anyone for like puzzling. That game is so great and the developer earns my money.

well, what about the server side DC ? whats the status to current event? will it DSQ all players ? 5 matches - shows 1 DC, while i didnt.

Wake me up when this event is over and normality returns.

Noticed the quality of games sunk to low-lows as soon as I logged in today like it always does during tourneys. Will be for my own good if I just keep away from MWO while this event is going on otherwise I'll be tempted to uninstall.

Don't even care about the rewards, they're just not worth it when the game is this painful....

If you're talking about CW, they could be trying to exploit the match score multiplier (when you lose no mechs) by indirect fire.

It won't work, and their team will lose, but still they'll try it.

Game seems more unstable then during the last days.

Also reaching 300 or 400 in Pug games is very hard, while in CW now it is rediciouless easy.

Either make all 200/300 or make CW 300/400

No this is the magic and wonder that is solo queue. So many drops yesterday with 4 lrm boats. at least 5 of the 30 games I played 8 players were either lrm or sniper and equally useless.

What's the problem with 300/400 score in pug. It's not that impossible for sure, and it should be something a bit difficult. This is a contest after all and it's not meant to be an easy ride.

It's not that it isn't achievable, but when combined with the leaderboard, people will work harder to one up each other and that would prevent someone from getting even 300.


With regards to CW, there's no less requiring a roflstomp match to get the match score as dying contributes to a lower match score.

Because LRM boats spread A LOT of damage around, leading to higher easier to achieve scores for the contest.
(This boggles my mind as SRM brawling will do this as well and better).

Been having ridiculous success with my srms, even started using 6's on some mech to spread the damage out and get an extra few salvos in.

I like the DC thing DQing you. Keeps the farmers in check. Still the guys with more time to play will still have an advantage, as they should but it would be cool to have a ladder tourney that didn't reward volume as much as these ones do. I would like to see one that had a major diminishing returns for the amount of matches played.

Just for something different so the guys/gals who may have less time have a better chance.
