Was just thinking of a scenario where a bunch of the big groups decide to wipe out one of the factions, basically conquering all of it's planets. It would essentially be a trial of annihiliation (or maybe technically absorption) against a faction.
If the last planet of a faction gets conquered, is this faction permentatly out of CW?

Can't happen.
A faction cannot capture the "home planet" of an other faction thus leaving a minimum of 1 planet to any faction.

Rasalhague was down to its capital at least once, same for GB and SJ when the leader of -MS- wanted to implement his pay-to-win CW-league and made his acolytes wipe them out ..

Wow. Didn't realize that. Did someone ever make an time-lapse video showing the timeline of CW and the planets exchanged? I'd love to see a link if such exists.
