Last night I came across this gem. He was happy and excited that he finally got tourmaline map, so I wished him luck on his 400... but... when it was clear who was losing, he did a 180.

Due to the language, I put it in a spoiler tag. So be warned.

I get that the event is painstaking, but this kind of attitude is selfish and an embarrassment, more than that, it's disrespectful and totally unwarranted.
No one needs this kind of harassment. Needless to say, he's reported, but for those of you who are still struggling with the event, I just kindly ask you to refrain from reaching this point.

Just simply press ESC and leave. Saying stuff like this might not affect you, or maybe it will and help you feel better, but it hurts the people who play for fun, and if they were a new person, well, I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to stick around...

It's just not cool.

I get the feeling that he disses his teammates even during regular days. As for the event, it was the worst event in recent memory. I made it to the T1 prize pack, but I sure as heck not gonna play during an event like this again.

I'm pushing the point that people notice this attitude, and I wanted to voice my opinion about it.

How do you mean?

When I mentioned Tier, I was thinking that you could probably expect this attitude from the higher tier ranks as things get more competitive, but if I'm in a low tier then it makes me more worried that this attitude is passing down onto new players. No body deserves this kind of flak though.

I really don't see an issue in a little sh*t-spewing in a match. I mean it IS a competitive game and when sh*t goes awry, emotions run high and it's not surprising people get up in arms about it.

Anybody could foresee that. Some games have proven PSR works. Many others have proven i doesn't work at all showing it in the public and makes a Community getting more toxic.

This is why i disgust at people who voted for 'Full Disclosure' and i am more suprised why would PGI let a Community decide on game decisions.

You shouldnt let Communities get involved at all. Look at the PTS for example: a crapton of proposals and only perhaps..slight..minimal chance of getting it noticed or even considered to be implented.

Communities are good at making things custom. Custom sounds, custom maps, custom this & that.
Not for silly councils, game making decisions, proposals and others thing that arent likely to be heard.

It's something that i have been hammering on it. Because by any means a Community should do what's a Community can be good at and that's creating, modifying and supporting the game in a different way then just vote and or getting involved in gamedesign.

Take the new Unreal Tournament for example. That's is how it suppose to be done. It's still in the works but the amount of Community involvement is amazing.

You learn to ignore stuff like this, it's far more common in basically every other game there is. Getting all worked up about it only encourages it.

I'm not new, and it's preventable. Just because it happens doesn't make it OK.
