There's a certain person I'd like to ignore who I see regularly in matches on the oceanic server. You know the type, foul mouthed and obnoxious beyond belief, and he's now starting to scream into his mic.
Any way to ignore him so I don't have to read his foulness or hear his screams of rage?

You can't ignore just him in textchat, but in voicechat you can click on the speaker symbol behind his name to mute him.

Bring up scoreboard, find his name and on the far right where the speaker icon is, click it so there is a red X over it, and his Mic will be muted to you.
And you can disable all text chat from the settings menu, but that is a bit extreme.

If that person's text chat is really bad (cursing, sexual or racial slurs, etc...), you can take a screenshot and submit it to PGI to report their behavior.
If that person receives a warning from them about their conduct (or possibly a short term ban), then he/she might not behave that way in the future...maybe :/.
