This event is has been about the worst thing for community morale I have seen in any game ever.

It was great for my personal morale! I didn't play this weekend and enjoyed doing other things without the frustration of the event! B)

To me, I think it is up there for MWO, but not the worst. Just frustrating mostly.

I'd say the biggest morale hit in MWO was the $500 Gold Clan Mechs. Out of everything, that was the worst.

Runners up would be initial clan launch before balance and before that, LRMgeddon.

As for other games, I have heard Star Citizen has had some issues (like the constant delay of the dogfight module). I'm sure Sim City or Diabolo III when their DRM systems snafu'd and locked out players just after launc can be considered FAR worse. Can you imagine those forums...the rage.

I'm sure there were others far worse.

Agreed. Chat in game has been much more hostile than usual.

I agree and i just played 5-10 matches and then logged off.

It was rediculous.

That's not true. I got to raise my season rankings by 3 whole levels in Hearthstone this weekend because of this event!

I always like events, i play on the weekends mostly, so anything to try for is worth it for me. I never have done well with RNG events though, but trying earned 5m c-bills thus far.

Im very much a spring chicken in terms of length of time playing so not sure how this event ranks in the scheme of things. It has been very toxic over the past few days, the rampant intentional disconnection and stupid wait times in the queue (not to mention the legions of SCR/TBR/DWF's..) has lead to a lot of frustration. I even lost it earlier today and thought it would be a good idea to TK the w4nk3rs who were intentionally disco'ing... (if i get the ban hammer for admitting this So Be It) Murphy's law struck and just as id had my way with the alleged disco'er he rejoined... which was pretty unfortunate - if your reading this mate *sorry*.

edit: grammer

Solo queue took me all day saturday, ~ 9 hours.

CW was easy as **** because if you understand the map and the way things drop you can manipulate your odds to get the map you want. Then its basicallyc garaunteed points.

So no, RNG doesn't love me anymore than anyone else. Just don't choke when you get your map.

It's bad but still doesn't top the 1 kill, 1 assist stay alive and win event.

this game has permanently cured me from trying any more freemium games. the free to play model can burn like the pay2play mmorpg model and aaa hypefest bs.

I actually found that one easier. Granted it was a pain but I felt that many teams I played with worked together better than this weekend. I played a light and chewed through that challenge pretty well.

This challenge was about getting as much damage as possible without regards to anyone/anything else. Not much teamwork involved, it was a very selfish challenge.

Be prepared to repeat yourself. Granted, there are tons of threads on this topic, but PGI is already deleting threads that have negative feedback about the event. Go figure.

If they delete them all, there will be nothing left to post about in general discussion.

I did not bother with the challenge. I wouldn't have had the time anyway.
Ran around with my beloved Raven-3L trying to have fun and support my team-mates to victory. Results varied.
The amount of negativity, disconnecting, FF and hostility was depressing.

These challenges are hit and miss. Sorry PGI, this was a clear miss.

For the Solo queue, yes.

The Group queue, nope.
