The guys who gamed the system to win with alts didnt get in trouble for it? Hell that says to me that PGI are fine with it.

as for he event itself, I never play on event weekends because they generally reward completely crap gameplay, and bring out the absolute worst in the players, and the game quickly becomes no fun to play.

Let them come for me. I'll just go take my wallet to another game. I have never once used an aimbot, used an exploit for gain (demonstration for the community yes, personal gain no), or been abusive to someone in game that didn't have it coming. Our unit takes new players, trains them up, and gets them on good mechs. Likewise we try to be nice to the pugs in all cases unless they are jerks.

If they feel that my conduct is bannable so be it and I will simply go find another game to put money into.

Again, what seems to be missing here is the old customer knows best. We are this games customers and it is the devs job to try to make it enjoyable for the great majority. If you have a major portion of your base angry and doing conduct against the TOS it basically means you are not being a good vendor.

And yes, the vendor can simply revoke service from the customer but be wary in that it is much easier to retain and fix business relations than it is to find new customers.

You can argue "BAN THEM ALL!" which is fine but be wary in that you will simply be hurting yourself which money stops flowing to the developers.

That was the easy on though as it was completely obvious. What we're hoping is that it triggers an audit of the rest of the top as we saw some very very interesting conduct out there on the field.

Yeah because even when I do 1100 damage with 11 assists and one kills I score 720 and that was my best game ever. So I am not sure how you get 805? Much less on 9 maps.

Factor in my screwy timezone, and after getting the same map four times running I said F it, not worth it.

But yea, interesting is the term I would use. Specially with the divisor on match score in CW, that was a WTF moment.

Also; Ive put far more than $900 into this game if you dont count the fact that I built this PC and bought the monitor I have FOR playing this game. If you include those its more like $2000

I won't go into the details but just like in the last tournament we know of deals that were being made between teams. To avoid running astride of PGI's request our demonstration was obvious and purposely so, other deals were cut in this tournament and the prior one between units at various points and it would be albeit impossible to detect what was going on.

Due to our size we are occasionally approached for these sorts of options but honestly have always found them lame and try to avoid any sort of mass exploit.

We're hoping that after revealing exactly some of the sheenigans people don't come to us with these offers anymore and it leads to a long term fix in the game.

How is PGI punished? For creating an event with big rewards but certainly challenging to finish?

Are you serious? Who punishes states for running lotteries? Who punishes the Olympic Committee for making getting into the Olympics and winning a gold medal hard?

Look, the temptation to cheat is a personal thing. If someone fails there that's on them. For the tournament or using hacks or anything else. That this discussion of even going on is representative of a shocking lack of personal accountability and entitlement.

I would have liked to do the CW challenge, I like CW better and better each time I play it. But I spend the whole part of the last five days chasing mining collective. I have seen it seven times. Three of those five times I had 3+ discos on my side. Once my team got rofl stomped so fast it was not funny, another time my team rofl stomped so fast I did not have time to get more than four or five shots off. And the last time I got TK's by a king crab who hit my maddog in the back with three volleys from his ac 20's because I was in his way.
