Many of you know what I did - I was wrong, and I do apologize. I have been a bad dog, and I may now have to spend some time in the dog house.... I am sorry.

So that you may understand what happened, after some forty hours of intense grinding and extreme frustration, I simply snapped. I lost all control and became quite enraged. Berserk is an appropriate description of what happened. I became irrational and was not in my regular frame of mind.

This is unacceptable and I will work very hard to avoid this in the future. I trespassed on the quality of your games, which I had no right to do. I should have simply logged off and gone to bed - instead I took out my rage by abusing the general population.

This morning I discussed this with some of the most experienced players here. Their advice to me was not to participate in any events that were almost guaranteed to generate this kind of mania.

I used to think these guys were crazy to talk this way - now I am not so sure. No doubt I will also learn this lesson, just like they did - and because I am stubborn, I will probably learn it the hard way.

Just play to have fun. The numbers will follow.
Trying too hard and getting angry will give you hemorrhoids. Do you want hemorrhoids?

Take the flamer hunchie
Put 12 tags on a nova
Run a LRM jenner

Have fun how you want to have fun. Maybe do a few serious drops, then take a break and do a silly one. Who cares? It's a game!

Well, if you're looking for advice, mine is:

As with anything, just know when to stop before it becomes a problem. If you know it's going to be a problem from the very start, then the answer should be pretty clear what you should do.

There's no point in apologizing if you're just going to end up in the same position.
So, like the gambling commercials say, "Know your limit, play within it."
And you won't have to make threads like this ever again :)

Stupid dynamic hardpoints took away my Treb with a LRM20 firing out of the narc tube. Constant missile fire, no breaks, much laughter.

I wonder how many more of these "MWO Confession" threads are going to pop up.

I really hope someone like beef takes these and makes a string of dramatic monologues out of them.

Beef... or Soy.

Come on guys, do it. I'll lend a voice or two if required.

This apology is better then most...he knows he is wrong and isnt making excuses. Simply wants to not be judged for his actions which came from anger and a bad place.

But, and im sure you know, actions speak louder then words so make up for it from here on out.

Or do like mystere stated and commit seppuka lolz.

I still don't understand why they do these events were they idea is to play until you drop? What does pgi gain from this? It sure doesn't make me want to run out and buy mech packs. A fun game playing with nice people does this.
