serious question: based off what paul said (lots of [good] games = higher tier[ish]), would that mean someone with 4k plus games should have a good t3-2 assuming they dont lose every match? Not surprised of my T4, but RL means I dont play as much as other people, so assuming average W/L, a small number of good games would still be a lower tier then a large number of bad games?

Win = PSR up
Loss = PSR down (if I am the only one doing something PSR stays the same)

There will always be flaws in ratings, so who knows. The "problem" is it's relative to who you're matched with. If you ARE better than T5 but were matched with T5's then it could have been easier than a game of all T4's.

For instance I was messing with my tier 4 alt account (36k exp total), and in my 2nd game I got 7 kills - with a mech I hadn't hit BASIC's with. That simply wouldn't happen on my other account where I get matched with Lord/Empy/CSJ/etc. However I still get a 5-7 kill match weekly, and my spades were from getting 9 kills/3 assists/1k dmg before quirks.

It means in any given match you'll have either 5's or 1's because they won't be in the match against each other. In solo queue, anyway.

Same... in fact, I know of at least a hundred people who are tier 1 with a full bar. It seems entirely too easy to reach that accomplishment.

i cannot even get down, i been leveling my BKs and Maulers and lost most games i been in and had sub 100 dmg etc and i am still at tier 3

I would be interested to see the percentage of players in each tier. Just because most of the people we know are in Tier 1, does not mean that is an accurate representation of the full population.

You also can't rely on the amount of people posting here or the amount of people opting in on the forums, because those with good tier ratings are much more likely to post than those with bad tier ratings.

I dont want to stay in tier 3, i want to be lower where folk are less **** about the game and i do not see boring as **** Meta Laser / gauss vomit D wolfs, Timberwolves , etc
