Yes, i had leukemia, just prior to October last year, almost died, was in a coma for a week, my family were told it was unlikely i'd make it out the other end.
Freakiest experience of my life, but us Mechwarriors are made of tougher stuff.

Transplant? I am in remission from AML. 5 years in December. Was lucky enough to get away with 8 rounds of Chemo. No transplant.

I've been going through a crap streak since PSR was introduced and I'm at the top of T3. Wonder how long it will take to get out of PSR hell once I've shed all this recent work stress, travel, etc.

I'd thought I'd be low T2, but turns out i'm high T3. Thats what I get for leveling a bunch of new mech. Work my way up into T2 and i'll be happy. I don't play meta builds so I wasn't expecting miracles.

Around 5 and half months of god knows how many sessions of various different kinds of IV chemo, one kind made the whole inside of my mouth break out in ulcers for a few days, that was extremely unpleasant.
So far the treatment seems to be working great, stem cell transplants would be considered if it comes back, but that process sounds pretty scary to me, so fingers crossed.
Waking up to see my pillow covered in massive clumps of my hair was also an interesting experience, free haircut i thought.

PS.BTW congrats man, its a long road, i hope you stay healthy, life is so much sweeter after something like that.

I expected mid to low Tier 3. I haven't run in a group in almost a year. I am quiet surprised.

Thanks for proving exactly why so many people voted to keep it anonymous even if you wanted to know.

I get home from work and do my usual patching ritual of sitting there and waiting for it to finish.
Posted Image

When the patch is done I log in and the first thing I see with the new mech lab is it showing my tier, which is lower Tier 4.

My reaction...

Steering wheel underhive here I come.

Was expecting low 4 or a high 5 with the way I play. I'll just keep pugging along.

Tier 4. Hold on let me hop in my Stormcrow.
. . .
Okay, now I'm tier 3.

Guess I need to shelve the naked locust for a while? Damn shame. They really should do ranking on a per chassis basis. It's pretty dumb to treat a pilot as equally effective in all 'mechs. This explains a lot about MWO's matchmaking, really.
