twiafu, dont tell me, there is difference, how system benefits you, from solo and group play. Im playing solo only so far.

yesterday 10 games, 7 green, 3 red.
What exactly is TEAM play score ? In pug, people spread out always.

Well, your playing in a teamwork/group based game in a 'solo' mode and solo mentality.

Cannot get any resemblance of a team when everyone is out for themselves at the cost of everyone else.

Never going to get out of T5 playing in that **** infested sandbox.

See, I want your gameplay to improve, your experience to improve, your Tier to improve. That cannot happen in the solo queue. Just look at your games and the "teams" you are dropping with, you will see the truth.

Cannot get out of the underhive if you always play with the underhive.

k next time i create screens.

Dont have to do that, just jot down important info;

Win or Loss. Match Score. KIlls. Assists. Damage.

Adding data is helpful for everyone that wants to find the thresholds for PSR movement.

I'm pretty much where I thought i'de be. One thing i'de like to know though, does this system (and the new elo) use group stats? Ive never been in a group drop, but I expect that if it does read group stats that those platyers are going to have artificially inflated tiers. When the new elo came out they said that it used stats since january

Actual score might be meaningless, for all we know it might as simlpe as:

Match score - Win - Loss
1st - up - up
2nd - up - up
3rd - up - up
4th - up - =
5th - up - =
6th - up - =
7th - = - down
8th - = - down
9th - = - down
10th - down - down
11th - down - down
12th - down - down

Nope. I got third highest match score of all 24 players but was on losing side and got a =

I expected to be T3...but ended up mid T4.

I have had a horrendous losing streak that's lasted for at least 2 weeks, though. I been losing the majority of the matches I've been playing. So I'm pretty sure it's the poor W/L portion of my performance that's mucking things up, as I'm almost invariably the highest scoring player on my team each match.

I can't carry hard enough, I guess.

I would like to see a chart comparing solo players to group players in terms of tier rating.

I'm a100% T2 solo player with an average of 15 - 20 matches per day. My progress bar puts me halfway to T1. Perhaps in about a month, I will make it to T1.

PSR is based on how much you put in that match score box. The more you put in it, the faster you will move up.

Build a balanced mech that reflects your play style, limit the incoming fire (cover), stay together and focus fire.

Maybe a little, but it isn't like I was way off in my estimation. My W/L ratio wasn't all that hot and there were several games where I completely bombed out. Some of it was bad luck, some of it was bad decisions, some of it was just plain being outclassed by the competition, and sometimes it was a combo of all of those.

Probably doesn't help I have to do a lot of experimenting with builds and usually go through several that sound good on paper but actually don't do so hot in the field before I find something that clicks. It took me forever to find a MDD build that worked for me for instance. Plus I change out mechs like I change my clothes. So yeah, did a lot of self-sabotage just by how I play.

Most players are just average by definition, like me.

I know I certainly am.

I play mostly lights and I'm awful in assaults. I've had some awful games lately and some I will just disco from the second I see it's the NA server and their base capping within the first 2 mins of the game and the score is 0/0.

And yet I'm classed as average in tier 3, honestly I can't see how this is right. At best I would rate myself as below average as I really only play one tonnage of mechs. I wouldn't call that average, I would call that just sticking to what I'm half decent at.

Nope, I am T2 and I almost only play light mechs (90% of my matches are light) so since i am not playing TBRs, EBJs HBRs or SCRs with meta builds I didn't expect to be T1.

I thought I would be at the bottom of T2, instead I'm at the top of T3. Not a big difference since I'll still get in games with just about any other tier, but being T2 would make my ePeen that much bigger.
