I thought it would be interesting if people posted what match score, damage, kills and assists they got in a loss and either stayed the same or moved up. I am curios if it is a fixed number or graded on a curve.

According to the August 18 patch notes, your score only goes up if you do "exceptionally" well. If you do merely decently, your score stays the same, and if you suck eggs, your score goes down. I have no idea what that means in terms of match score though.

It's kinda assured that there might be an "average" based on your team's overall match score, but even then, you'd have to be "the best" on your team match-score wise. One could argue though that particular player did damage, but still contributed nothing in the overall scheme of things for a 12-0 roflstomp.

Curios how they are doing it. Whats your tier if you do not mind me asking? Wonder if its based on grading on a curve or what is expected of you from past performance etc?

I've had multiple games today where we lost but I did averagely (even well considering the circumstances). Still I got scored down every time.

I had a 275 in a loss, top score and damage on my team, and I got the red arrow. Tier 2 in a 2-3-4 match.

My guess is you need to do ~250-300 match score to not go down on a loss. (i lost psr on this one)

for me moving up will be slow. i dropped a couple of thousand times since january, so i expect not much "e-peen bar" movement even if i do constantly good.

Is it true the rank is determined from the last 6 months of play? Meaning if you took a hiatus or going forward you can lose rank from inactivity?

They said they counted stats starting from January of this year.

I am assuming that whether you go up or down would be based upon how you faired against the rest of your team efforts/scores.

Maybe work out the average of your whole Team's scores and see whether you are above or below it by a certain margin.

Just guessing here.

Cheers!

basically I think so. PSR takes games from jan onwards, and I think new players start in mid T4?

PSR is just ELO with a different name. Unless you do crazy good in a loss it will go down. Do anything but terrible in a win and it goes up. So still basically largely determined by your team.
