i had a loss with 236 points (3 kills, 2 solo, 3 assists, 300+ dmg) and went down.

I had a loss with 280+ (i think it was 283, 1 kill, 7 assists, 500+ dmg) points and did not go down.

The more I see it, the more I feel going up tiers is more of a grind more than anything.
Unless you do really bad in a loss, you'll stay even.

According to Russ it can go up with a loss if you "get a great match score". Not exactly sure what constitutes great. I had a 500 match score in a loss and i got a red down arrow.

Yeah you just need to do something like 500 dam/get ~300 match score on loses and you'll just be climbing or staying the same.
