Well the latest challenge left...... some bad taste in more than a few mouths ...... So in order to provide some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback to PGI, I offer that we, yes the same we that has broken these challenges, offer some advice on how to run these challenges.
Rules
1) Must be serious.
2) Must be possible.
3) Rules subject to change based on those who try to exploit the rules.
Scenario:
PGI wants to run a challenge that rewards a mech to.....Oh lets say... ME
1) Come up with a scoring system and process that reduces the chances of exploit.
2) Encourages team work.
3) Can be used in both CW and Public queue.
4) Has attainable goals, but does not require 10 hours to grind.
5) Prevents DC's, AFK's and Rambo'ing.
6) Uses real tactics in the game.
Let's see if we can help PGI come up with a tournament that is not like the one we just had.

Hit the nail on the head; I bet any idea will have loop holes.
This a game in which you can game any statistical outcome provided the resources and tenacity to do so.
I personally believe that if they fleshed out the reward system better, to promote role warfare, there would be no need for events, and the gamer who games is only gaming himself, because he is doing his/her part to gain the reward justly deserved for the effort of maintaining the role (using salvage to throw in bonus items; oooh, look a warhorn).
