The FWLM Black Widow Company is active once more, and actively recruiting.

The Widows, in-game tag -BW-, have a long and storied history in MechWarrior games and the Free Worlds League that dates back almost twenty years. Originally founded by GenDread and Gravewalker in Multi-Player BattleTech: Solaris in 1996, the Widows have been active in nearly ever incarnation of MechWarrior since, and have been a strong member of the Free Worlds League since the early days of the unit.

Our philosophy is one of creating a strong, cohesive team who have fun playing together, and have the coordination to give any opponent a run for their money. We're here to have fun, to help each other get better, and to enjoy the game. We mix a rough-and-tumble, devil-may-care attitude with a casual atmosphere and strong unit coordination and combat discipline.

Our training nights are currently Tuesday evenings, 7pm Eastern to whenever, and they are open to everyone in the FWLM. We prioritize Widow members, but anyone looking to drop with us to have fun and improve their game is welcome to join.

Widows are still active and looking for new members! We are starting to push into CW, but our primary focus is on having fun, wherever we can find the matches.
