My record today after the PSR release has been about 1 win and 12 losses... in mechs where my KDR is over 1.5 and my W/L is over 1.0... I'm a Tier 2 but barely, and dropping bit by bit.

Feels like they changed something in the MM along with the PSR release but that seems odd.

The only theory I can come up with is that everyone's pulling out their best mechs right now, so even though I was Tier 2 before, I'm really more of a Tier 3. The people in Tier 1 especially are so sharpshooting... dual gauss, very precise with everything, and one wrong step and bam, a torso is gone or stripped.

It was nice to play with the top teams, but it'll be a lot more fun to play with weaker folks soon, which I guess is where I'm heading! Honestly this taking all the joy out of the game for me right now.

Curious if anyone else has experienced similar brutality!

Maybe every one is trying harder because they want their PSR to go up?

Everyone is still using their cheese builds from the event.

Usually takes about a week for things to calm down again after these things.

This, except now that the event is over, people are playing sensibly again. A lot of people go crazy during events and play badly (I think I'm one of them too). People haven't got around to moving their modules/returning their builds to normal. You can get used to killing people who are charging in by themselves quite easily.

Also some people will be trying to get to tier 1. Personally I think I'd be happiest with my tier locked at 5

I am still scared to play a game.....im T4, so, I guess the fail could be on either end..mine, my team, ormaybe I get the side that fails a little less then the other side.....

TO bad im not 1337 enough to carry hard like I did in Planetside 2 quite often.

You disagree? I'm glad I can bring a smile to people's faces, but I was quite serious when I posted that.. During the Tukayyid event, I've dealt SO MUCH damage and scored so many kills in the Trial Myst Lynx that I actually ended up buying one just so I could swap out the maschine guns for some lasers..

Those LRM's are annoying, they control the field to some degree, and are great for killing blows.. Also, it IS very annoying when your a heavy and a light is dancing around you from a great range, harrasing your with LRM's and you can't even see it..

Now, back to the original thread topic:

I haven't noticed any significant change, altho, I haven't had the time to play much yet.. I DID however buy and setup a new EXE-A, and had good results with it (746 damage, 11 assists, 1 kill, all in the same match - match score 447!)

So I don't really know if that was skill or shooting sub-tier people like fish in a barrel (didn't feel like sub-tier people, worked hard for that!)

I didn't play many matches last night, but it didn't seem like many people were happy with their tier. Other than the black knights there wasn't much other than the higher powered mechs of each class being fielded.
