Firstly, system said im Tier5. So be it.

Im doing 600-800 damage with assaults in every second match, sometimes killing 1, sometimes 3-5.
Id like to know, if T1 pilots could write here their average stats, ie KDR + damage and cbills earning (non +30%), to compare.
Id like to know, what exactly is the difference between T5 and T1 gameplay. Why system said im 5.

EDIT: im not willing to be T1. (T4 is all i wanted)

Well, I started with Tier 5, missing the last 5-6mm on my progress bar.
Did exactly that... played about a dozen games yesterday.

All (ok, most) in a 5xAC5 Mauler... Damage range 400-800, only had one game with a red arrow, one with a yellow equal sign, all others sporting the green "pilot skill rating going up" symbol.

Still missing the last few pixels on Tier 4...

Tier progression happens slooooooowly over the course of hours and hours and hours of gameplay.

Sirmad, i know about this, but that not answered my question.
doing 600-800 damage in assaults, and system said , you are T5. why ?

quul, i saw you twice in my rounds yesterday.
I got 7 green, 3 reds from 10 mathces, my T5 progress bar moves +- 0.5mm. so how many games must i win to get to T4 ,and how many to T1 ? 2000/30000 ?

It still cares more about winning than personal stats.

Post your own average WLR, KDR and XP earned per match first. They are all on you stats page. Meanwhile I shall call you Ti-fiveium. :P

That's cause good players win more consistently.

Include match score and if a win or loss on that map.

There seems to be a lot of focus on KDR and W/L in the forums, but how often do you get scout, flank, hit and run etc bonuses also have a impact on the rating. So even if someone has better "stats" they can still have a lower rating since they never get the other stuff.

Indeed. My point was that raw damage/match score has less to do with it than the OP seemed to imply. I only played a few matches last night, but saw up arrows on wins and down arrows on losses aside from one no change on a loss I did top damage in. "How much damage to raise my level" is the wrong thought. Want to raise your level? Win. Learn to carry.

win with T5 pugs is random , one up one down, because i cannot manage all the time all 11 others. they do not listen, you know mostly 11 rambos.

So long as you believe you can't drive the results of matches, it'll be true.

As I wrote in my earlier post, try to get more of the other bonuses. Being a one trick pony will (almost) never get you to the top. Since dmg and kills are only a part of the scoring calculation you need the other stuff to get a higher score.

Guys, by what I read around, winning the match counts more for a good PSR than dmg/kills... because even with a good damage, if your team lost, is more like you will get a yellow =...

Kills don't matter so much, as stated by PGI it is match score. which when you get to 500+ dam.. the kills affect the match score far less than the damage done.

You need to work out average dam and overall W/L then you get a good idea of PSR. KDR is just for forumwar

Oh, and since you asked:

Kills/Death - 532/910 (0.58 ratio)
I started playing in spring this year (I do hope my old 2013 matches don't count)

Ever since I got the Mauler-MX90? 72 matches, 1.53 KD ratio in this chassis...

The only KDs above 1.00 are in the Mauler chassis'... I guess I just ain't a light player :-D

Worst: 0.15 in my Sparky (41 matches) if I don't count the ones I only played once or twice...

Posted Image

34.566 damage through 72 games -> ~480 average...

Point is, the Tier rank is calculated over all performances, not just the one chassis I am actually comfortable in.
