I have submitted 4 tickets over the last 4 days requesting a refund for my pending pre-orders. Any ticket I have ever submitted in the past has been answered within 24 hours, until I want my money back. If PGI continues to withhold my money without a response to a ticket every 12 hours, I will be taking legal action. This is a public post, so now everyone can see how bad you are to your community. Ignore this.

Perhaps they are backlogged with all of the people who are requesting refunds at them moment?

Did you already receive delivery of some of the pre-order items? In essence if you received some benefit (be it premium time, cockpit items, colours and/or mechs) wouldn't that mean that you would not be eligible for a full refund? In the event that it is the case that you received some benefit, could you not imagine that there would be some difficulty in figuring out if you warrant a refund or how to prorate some form of refund? Just putting it out there (not trying to be combative)

As an aside, you should get, at the very least, an e-mail indicating that they are investigating it.

^^This.

I recently put in a request to refund my preorder IIC Orion pack after seeing the PTS negative quirks. I still had the 30 days early adopter time banked. They processed it the next day and took out the 30 days from my banked time. Make sure to send it to the accounts@mwomercs.com address.

Edit: Put PSR instead of PTS (Play Test Server). Fixed

Give it a couple of days for a single ticket and don't make a new one.
Some companies put your ticket at the bottom of the list when they get the said ticket, so sending multiple would only put you back at the bottom over and over again.

Legal action? Over what I'm assuming is less than $100?

Yeah, no. You'd rack up more in legal fee's just in your first meeting with a lawyer in many offices.

Patience. While its not great that its taken this long, Kira_Onime may be correct. Last time I had a support ticket I think it took about 36-48 hours to be resolved, but I've had one before that was longer.

Why are you refunding? Maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe your working in your request?

Some people need to grow up and be more responsible with their spending.

FYI, there are specific e-mails you should be using to get refunds for support. Make sure you are using the right ones, as the general one is processed far more slowly than the specific ones.

At first I wanted to assume this, but decided to ask the question first.

If the reason for the refund is because the mechs you purchased don't fit with the meta, then you should feel bad for being a tryhard scrub who needs a crutch. i didn't want to make this assumption though so again, I asked the question above. :)

This has never been a criterion for accepting/denying a refund at PGI. Stop being salty.

To OP, they have been extremely backlogged lately. It took about 36 hours to get a response to one of my tickets the other day, and I got an automated message talking about their backlog before that.

Edit: 4 days is a lot, though. Wow. I have little doubt they'll get to it ASAP, but backlog must be even worse than expected.

Who said ANYTHING about accepting or denying? I'm talking prioritizing. For example, during the tournament I was unable to play a certain map, crashed out every time. I submitted a ticket, with screenshot and DXDiag logs and had my resolution in 4 hours.

Salty? Look around for who is calling the BK DOA because it's not the second coming of meta.

So after posting this I receive my money within an hour. Coincidence? Probly not.

I had no issue asking for mine, got a helpful response a day or so later. I didn't flip out and keep submitting new tickets though so maybe it was me not being a nutbar?

Coincidence? Probably not.

So basically you acted like a temperamental child in front of your peers on the forums. And so you think they sped your refund up? You know, that's kinda sad.

To be honest, it does kinda actually work.

I hate to tell you, but I don't think anyone's shaking in their boots over your threats of legal action.

I think PGI kinda would, but not for this particular reason though.

I'd wager a guess you'll also be shown far less leniency if you are later reported for an accident such as an inadvertent teamkill.

It also helps to understand refund systems. With a raw CC transaction, it can take at least 2 business days. With debut/bank transactions it can take over a week. Only cash is truely liquid, online credit is more like molasses.

Third, it helps to pre-emtively protect yourself. In the USA you have certain consumer rights, particularly with credit card & bank transactions. I've been offered partial refunds on disputes before I even showed proof, as in I could get money even if I was lying. I've also got money back from "ghosts" after several months of giving slack - however it took a few months afterwards to close/finalize the refund.

Lastly, you'll always catch more bees with honey than vinegar...
