I made it to Tier 3 in less than 25 matches playing bone-stock Centurion A and Awesome 8Q, for what it's worth

Don't pay attention to your tier level. Pay attention to the match you are playing in, and getting the most out of your build/mech.

If you learn from your mistakes and improve a little bit each game you play, you'll get to where you want to go.

Focus on the journey. Not the number beside the word "Tier."

The real question is: are you having fun playing?

If "yes," it doesn't matter what tier you're in. If "no," figure out what you don't like currently in your play experience and, if it is something you can address, investigate it and see what you can do about it.
