Or this one, more lore-wise:
Would it be toooooo much OP, in your opinion? It is this the reason why we have a belly vomiter?
Just curious

+6 to arm internal structure. Small laser range +2.5%
Quirks done.

Those on the arms can stay for brawling.
For CW I would still pick a TDR-5SS for obvious reasons.

Having said that though, I still don't know why you'd use this over a Grasshopper.

Those are moderate hardpoints, not high. High would be on the shoulders, like the 2 high hardpoints on the GHR-5H.

I actually like the BK's weapon quirks more than Grasshoppers. 351m ML range is something I have wanted on a heavy laser vomit platform for a long time, I just wish they put that on one of the variants with 9 hardpoints

I'm actually loving my BK-6-KNT with three LPL and three ML. It's fast become my new favorite IS heavy.

Mine is 3 LPL, 5 MLs.
I think I like the 6B more though... 3 LPL, 6 MLs, XL 350, stripped armor, 19 DHS. 63 damage alpha at 340 ish meters... pretty solid.

I would just like to see some additional heat gen quirks. Not big ones, but a little more help.
Overall unless the hard points get awkwardly high (like cockpit level or JUST below it, I don't think such small movements are really worth it.

I like my knights, though, they move well, can twist well, and spread too.
But I feel like a waste of potential in them.

That little change would help not to hit the ground in many situations.
Not super high hardpoints, because as we know the Knight never had them, but some situations seem a bit strange to me, like climbing a low slope and hitting the ground, or staying behind a super low rock, and still hitting it.
Heat quirks needed too.

First, the primary position for the weapons on the arms appear to be on the OUTSIDE of the arms, not under. Secondary arm mounts can go anywhere since I cant find a pic of Black Knight with multiple weapons on an arm.
Second, get those laser hard points HIGHER. The author of this thread absolutely nailed it.
Please consider moving the hard points to be more reflective of actual lore. Thanks!

If it had a few on the shoulders I'd actually consider picking up this mech once it's available for cbills. Maybe.

The 6B is definitely the better of the two with its -10% heat gen quirks.
I like the 6 because 30% Cbill boost.

I have all 4 armed and basiced, but they are defintily subpar Mechs.

Same thing for the BattleMaster.
Gorilla arms + low hardpoints = bad.
