The media player would be cool because:
1) you wouldn't have to get out of the game to change a song or something
2) This IS a Sim after all, I dunno, it would look cool to see the pilot like hit a button to change a song or raise the volume, or maybe while you're waiting to deploy or something, he does a little sitting down dance :3
3) it would add visuals to the cockpit to just plain make it seem more custom like any of the other things, which is cool

Also I think little small cameos to people from other games, like I dunno, a picture of Castle from MW4 with hearts around her or something (would most definitely have to be the crappy live action picture of her just like in the game xD)

I'd have to decline the IS Girls calender. Hey, I love girls, but I wouldn't want to get distracted and make a mess of my controls...If you know what I'm getting at here...

I dunno what you're girls of the IS calendar looks like, but mine would be PG rated... at least the one in the cockpit

Maybe you can get like a ton of those plastic balls that kids jump into, and so when you look down, you're like up to your chest in them, and can see them moving around as your pilot moves his hands to mess with controls and stuff, that would be funny. Like as get deployed you hear the little computer voice "deploying party balls" and they just fall from above you, hitting your head and stuff as they fill the cockpit.

okay, so, I was thinking it would be awesome to have a mirror ball in the cockpit, and then I read something about urbie brawling and... for some reason I just imagined an urbie covered in mirrors...disco mechwarrior anyone?

Would be awesome if players could see the stuff in other players mechs, so like you're in your at Atlast and you see a hunchback running around with the cockpit filled with party balls or w/e you have in there.

a disco ball inside the machine wouldn't be bad either, just spinning above your head and making little lights spin. Maybe turn off all the lights so it's really dark, and have some black lights and strobes, have a damn party in there.

I suppose if you die during a match it might make things a little more interesting; viewing the action from a teammate's cockpit. Marveling at all of the odd or clever choices they might have made and -- Wait -- is that a Timber Wolf-in-a-bikini pinup? You, Sir, digust me!
