The chat sys is long overdue for an overhaul, im sure they will get to it
However its not something i give two cinders about
I does not effect game play and for priority info you should be using voip not chat

I am still kind of new around here but if this is true, it is sad.
Very very sad.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many people work on MWO? Like how big their staff is?

SOME of us cant use voip you OP noob. Go QQ troll someone else. Theres a majority of players who dont use any form of TS on MWO. The minority seem to be the only ones who use it. Ive only seen like 10 people in the last month using it in public ques.

Thats a good question, if you're including email responce GM's, Q&A, and forum GMs who are mostly volinteer and PGI uuuh i have no idea. As far as just PGI its probably no more than a dozen I'd say? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, judging by how fast they get stuff done, they can't have more than 2 programmers, one probably not even working full time.

Seriously, MMOs from the early 2000s are laughing at you.

No. You just keep talking (or spamming) each other until some actual limit (probably hardcoded) where the game decides to just crash outright... taking you and the recipient out of the game.
Can confirm has happened to me once. It required more than 200 messages from each of us, I think, before it crashed.

Why cant they make the chat window separate from everything else that is happening.
I would also like to be able to scroll the window to read past messages. Sometimes when things are happening fast the message is gone before you can finish reading it.
Why has this been ignored for so long?

Having a normal chat without serious bugs would indeed be nice.
Maybe hire some real programmers instead of script kiddies?

If you are using android it does not like java and this may cause issues w the forum saving. If this is happening on other browsers, I am glad it is not me then.

I just updated a new internet browser, I downloaded the current Firefox browser and its still doing this crap. It also did it on internet explorer 11 as well. Same thing, the forum is messed up. Posting, and Saving topics or posts is bugged, making duplicates even triple posts.

Ctrl A. Ctrl C, click next, Ctrl V. Continue. There you go. Takes like 3 seconds. On Macs its the command button instead of ctrl.
I know, I know, it still really sucks, but at least you can avoid losing everything and you guys make it sound like the end of the world.
