Read the posts from the dev team. I mean just read the content. Proof positive that they're all Mechwarrior geeks just like us.

I spent a lot of time beta testing combat flight sims a few years back, and did freelance journalism reviewing the games. I was on staff at a popular website for awhile, so I actually got to meet some of these folks in person. Those guys were all flight nerds just like us. Folks ought to think about that when they make hurtful comments about the game.

Tier 4, nearing Tier 3 with the Griffin build below. Cut my teeth with the Dragon Slayer at the beginning, then ran Panther's for a bit before switching to the 1S.

The VTR-DS is an underrated platform. It can still hang in a fight if it's played like a mobile heavy instead of an assault-it usually won't go toe to toe with a 90-100 tonner but it can step up and tank a 70-75 tonner if it's carefully handled. And Griffins can wreck. One of our drop callers was working a GRF last weekend and tearing up the enemy with 500+ damage every game.

No.
That means I can face them and touch them with my Ubies, Maulaaas, and other Junkyard rust.

Dear and kind Devs,

Please reply to this so we can see your tier!
No shame!, we know you're great programmers, artists, etc.

Thanks!

Edit: updates
Tina, Ricky, Lauren, Lisa, Blake, Jameson, Kyle, Matt, Gary, Mike, Jamie and Alexander have showed up and posted in less than an hour!!!

Update 2: Paul showed his tier (previously invisible). Hats off to you for bravery.
Update 3: Paul's tier is now hidden again (was 4 for those of you who missed it)...

no other brave devs?

Yo Russ? where are you?

since Tiers are so heavily based on volume, I would hope most are tier 4 or 5, as that would indicate they are more focused on work than play.

yeah, because nothing would bring out all of the comp teams in force to the group queue like a roast day.....that would not be fun for them, or encourage them in any way to come play with us :P but it would be h___ah fun :)

I usually play jagermech, I dont like compromise so my builds are very focused instead of well rounded.

We do this sometimes on a stream on some Fridays in the late afternoon. I haven't been able to run them as often as I'd like to lately but am trying to find a way to get it back to being a regular thing.

The fact that so many Devs are with me hovering around the 3-4 line fills me with much glee.

Well, this may be my best bet yet, since most of the Devs have seen this post....

Dear Devs,

If I play enough to reach Tier 1 in my Locust (I know PSR considers all matches, but, given that it currently has my LCT-1E has 1.75M mech xp on it, the majority of those matches are in the Locust), can I get some kind of player title to make a joke about how much I love this mech?

I'm considering photoshopping the in-game screen so I can put in "Tier: Locust" with a little cartoon picture of the mech beside it.

Yeah I enjoyed the DS when I ran it for sure. I think that's generally how I ended up playing it once I got a feel for it.

The Griffin has indeed been a great 'Mech for me so far. Seem to have settled into a good rhythm of being able to run relatively high damage pretty consistently, while still having the mobility to scout and respond to fights in different areas of the map.
