I'm saying that going outside or doing something else instead of insulting people is a good idea. Where did I say anything about people not being able to go outside? The chat rooms on the MSN Gaming Zone were rediculous, even getting down to death threats over a video game. No one is making millions from winning 90% of the time.
So you're still just saying I'm trolling. I had fun in past MW games playing in leagues and also playing casually. Both are different types of fun. I'm not saying don't play competitively, I'm asking people to not turn it into a name calling hate fest of clashing egos. Pretty easy to understand.
But keep calling me a troll, it's your opinion. We're all free to express opinions.
Fair enough on the trash talking part, it's never appreciated. All I'm saying is that starting a thread saying that you pity someone isn't the way to go IMO. Maybe that was unintended, but it
does look like somewhat-subtle trolling at first glance, especially with the mockingly worded title.
People have opinions and attitudes, but saying that you "feel sorry for them" publicly is unlikely to result in those trash talking people fixing their wicked ways - if they happen across this thread, they may be annoyed at your patronizing. People who already agree with you will keep agreeing and go about their business. Nothing will change like that.
I generally agree with the general message, but the way you expressed it originally basically makes a possibly well-meaning thread
look like you've got a chip on your shoulder yourself.
