They might add a new bunch of 2K slots if they feel there is still demand there. You may not be out of the woods yet

Got a answer that HBS games will NOT send a second recieipt if you plegded via Paypal on September the 29th. But as long you have your Paypal receipt you should be fine they said.

Sorry for the confusion. We didn't realize we could set Paypal to send a second confirmation from us until a day or so into the campaign. As far as I know, there isn't a way to send one after the fact but as long as you have your Paypal receipt, there won't be any problems.
Thanks for writing.

Perhaps add this to OP.

No, I asked Mitch this. He said once they are gone, they're gone. 50 is all that the art department can commit to.

Frustating, but sometimes part of the game!
I want Sarlic as a hireable Atlas pilot...

I need to learn not to be so agressive with all the gaus and long range lasers flying around my ears. Perhaps add more points in 'Draw aggro and then squirrel out'. Haha!

Does the Joe Mallon Mech-Jock come with and Atlas? Or do you have to supply your own. Because I know Joe Mallon will not agree to pilot a Locust.
a limited edition Atlas, that comes with a special maneuver called "Leroy Jenkins".
Wonder if I could con HBS into making the Deputy Dawg......

If i would have had more money...

Jokes and e-peen aside i couldnt afford it anyway. But it would be fun me slapping the whole table of making some do- and donts on the Atlas and slap everyone in their faces if they break the rule or even argue with me.
Like giving the character a whole personal identity and a great background story behind it. And on the field not listening to the sound of gauss rifles because i am hearing impaired.
Ontopic:

NO! No, no, no! Not happening, and you're an evil, evil person for trying to tempt me!
Seriously though, that'd definitely be too much for me to be able to justify. I make a quite comfortable living, so I have a decent amount of fun-money, but that'd be more than I spent on my entire computer.

Am I alone finding their funding goals a bit strange and out of reality? 3D portraits, really... I have a really good goal for them: make unit and employing house decals visible on Mechs, including some unit's marks and numbers. It is anno domini 2015 and MWO for example still has no that "revolutionary" functionality.

It's not about being revolutionaey or not. But so far HBS have had very in depth details of what they have in mind. I don't think it's that easy as you say so.
But you and i cant tell how far they will go into design. Voice acting is always expensive. Good electronic, microphones and endless of recording alone to make it good.
I think it will be fine. Atleast the quality is. It's not a AAA game, people shouldnt expect it as a AAA game which costs tenfold then those goals to develop. Some smaller games from them feel like AAA quality because they know how to make it immersive unlike other real AAA games which are by any means most of the times half-arsed when they come out. Because real publishing / marketing costs more then the game itself. Thats the difference.

At least we know what their goals are.
I mean it took PGI 2 years to reach this crap we call Community Warfare.

I am perfectly fine with Shadowrun games, it was the main reason why I gave money to HBS.
