Had to revoke my pledge due to bouncing checks, kinda embarrassing and I'm sad, but oh well, I can wait :)

I can still back...

When you post in a thread the forum software automatically tracks that thread, and you'll get notified any time anyone posts. It is annoying as hell, so I talked to the web admin there and they are going to give us options to not have that happen.

For now the work-around is to immediately after posting go back to the forum, find the thread, click on the three dots to the far right for that thread, and click "untrack". Be advised you have to do this every time you post in a thread.

You'll still get notified if someone likes your post, or if someone follows you, and so on, but you won't get the flood of "X posted in thread Y".

Found it out myself today. Thanks for the heads up though!

I made a suggestion of having some kind of friendlist. Because i saw your name, Derek and other people i would like to add as a friend to follow their posts. Kind of interesting. So we will see how that work out.
