What the title says..

I'm a fan of mixed load outs. However, this mech is proving difficult for me to make one on it. What builds are people having success with?

Chain Saw build works on all but one of them (the energy boat). The chain saw build is 2 AC5 and 2 AC2 with 2 medium pulses as back up. The ballistics are one of each type in each side torso (so AC5 and AC2 in left and AC5 and AC2 in right). Then make it so you have 3 tons ammo for each gun so total 6 tons for 2 AC5s and 6 tons for 2 AC2s.

I usually click one side torso as one weapon group and right behind it click the other so they are not in concert at all. That way I save on heat, sounds awesome, and lastly pummels them enough so that they think twice at facing me (considering Mauler is a front forward mech and can be Ct'ed rather quickly).

Its CT is a damage magnet so it doesn't brawl too well unfortunately, but recently I tried a Atlas build on my 1R (as I have no Atlas yet), AC/20 in RT, 2xSRM6 in LT, 1 LPL on each arm, was pretty fun.

MAL-2P - Doesn't perform as well as you'd hope, but performs better than you think.

I like the 4 UAC5 mixed loadout, because it mixes left side autocannons with right side autocannons.

Me too usually, but man, I have so much success with the quad UAC5 2 ML build. I guess that's still sort of mixed. A truly mixed build I've had some pretty decent results with though is a quad AC5, 2 LRM 5, 2 ER LLs, and an XL 300? I think? Can't remember exactly. You can overheat that build if you get carried away.

2 x Gauss, 6t ammo, 2 Er Large.
rinse and repeat for the 1P, 2P, and the 90. No issues with chopping between mechs.

1R®. 4 x lrm15 + Arty, 2 MG 2t ammo, 2 Med pulse, and a shed full of LRM ammo (10t IIRC). oh, and a couple of DHS's

A good ballistic build is on the MX-90 - 2 uac5's and 4 ac2's. XL280. Just make sure you take a cool shot with you.

I tried a double 20 build, it is waaaaay too damn hot. Besides, if you're running events and want better scores, the quad uac5s are the way to go.

I had this in mind:
[smurfy]http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e142655a7be05b8[/smurfy]
Thoughts?

Smurfy build was done from my android at work. Wouldn't let put on the 4 tons of AC10 ammo, 1.5 tons ssrm ammo with one more heat sink.

You can chainfire the AC/20. You should only fire them together when you attack someone's backside or badly damaged sections.

I've got xl325, ×2 gauss, ×2 ppc on my 1P. It's pretty solid. I also enjoy quad uac5s or regular ac5s.
