Hello MechWarrior Online forums! My name is Garth Erlam, and I am your MechWarrior Online Community Manager. What is a Community Manager, I hear none of you asking - well sirs and ladys, my job is to make sure the forums are civil, to speak with anyone disrupting said forums civility, and most importantly, reading and reporting your suggestions to the appropriate people.
Something I do want to make very clear, though, is that I am here to be the middleman between the Developers and You, the fans. We want your (well thought out, well written, expertly composed) ideas! We really do, I swear.
Now, to head off the inevitable questions about my MechWarrior/BattleTech background:

• First mech game: MechWarrior (followed very quickly by a good couple years of MechWarrior 2).
  
• Favourite Mech: Urbanmech (oh, to use? Clan - Nova; Inner Sphere - Uziel). I tend toward digitigrade, smaller mechs. I like to play a skirmish style - essentially I play my mechs like the TF2 Scout.
  
• I am currently playing: Skyrim, TF2, L4D2, MechWarrior 4, Counter-Strike, and Civilization V.
  
• My favourite music is heavy metal.
  
• I am pro-Pony.

Garth, are you going to be reading through everything already posted and evaluating it, or are you just going to pick up fresh. I'll admit I've made some not-so-flattering commentary on this board, but I also have what I feel are some excellent ideas I'd like to have read over without having to make my cases all over again and facing the crap I've already endured over those ideas. While the cat, you, were away, a lot of folks have not acted very nice, including myself on one or two occasions, but I still don't want to have to make my cases anew, again, hehe.

And, yes, knowing your tabletop experience would be nice, as well, please?

I played the tabletop when I was younger, but every single person I knew played Warhammer 40k, so I fell out of it due to no-one to game with

And I've been on the boards the whole time, I just wanted to announce who was doing the Managing, and the Community-ing.

And anyone who's been reported was at least looked at by me so, no, there is no escape from Big Broth- err, I mean the Community Manager.

Looks like it was deleted. I used a search for it and can't find the topic.

Glad to see the first moderator show up on here and glad to see that he seems to be a pretty cool guy (dare I say as fly as Marty McFly?). Glad to see some much needed moderation and hope to see your input in some of these threads as well!
